"So... you guys..."

"Yeah" they replied in unison.

The three of them were now in the living room: Owen and Lawrence (who had put his shirt back on) sitting on the sofa, Conner walking back and forth in front of them.

He had a lot of questions, and the guys were going to answer all of them.

"...And when did it start? I mean..."

"About a month ago, when y/n stayed here for dinner and we had to sleep at the hotel..."

"...How?" he said, both confused and shocked.

"Well..." Owen started "...We had a lot of wine at dinner, and we were sharing a room, so... it just happened"

"Yeah, we were talking, and..."

"Ok, ok, I don't need details" he interrupted them "...But when you came back home you seemed normal! I mean, I would've noticed, if-

"We had decided it was nothing, while we were in the car..."
__

"...We were drunk, that's it" Lawrence said, keeping his eyes on the road.

He didn't believe a word of what he was saying, but he had to.

He had always liked Owen, but he knew he didn't feel the same way, he knew they couldn't have lasted, and wasn't ready to risk it all.

He didn't want to lose their friendship, to make things weird between them.

He didn't want to lose him.

"Oh... y-yeah, you're right. I mean..."
Owen looked away, trying to hide his disappointment.

"It was nothing"

He felt his heart sink, his chest heavy.
It was like someone had just punched him in the guts.

Nothing? That was what it was for him?

That night had been the best of his life! He had never felt so happy, so alive!

And yet, Lawrence had just given him proof he didn't feel the same way.
He probably thought it had been a mistake.

"...Y-yeah, it was..."

Owen bit his lower lip, staring at the view outside his window, as the car sped up through the LA streets.

He had to be strong, to pretend.

"...Nothing" he sighed, as a tear slipped out and silently ran down his cheek.

"...And when did you change your mind?"

The guys looked at each other.
Lawrence smiled softly, and nodded.

"Ok, well..." Owen said, taking a deep breath "It was two weeks ago, when you and Y/n went to Disneyland for the weekend..."

"Yeah, that was a great one" Conner said, thinking about that.

They had went there with his private jet, and really had a great time. They stayed at a great hotel, did all the roller coasters and haunted houses, slept one beside the other (just slept, y/n wanted to take things slowly)...

Luckily, they were in Paris, and just a few people recognized him, leaving them pretty free to roam around the city without having to worry about paparazzi.

He really hated France, but for her, he would've gone anywhere.

And suddently, she was all he could think of.
