15- Drunk Confessions
Bulma laughed in amusement as she watched Chi-Chi feed an eight-month-old Trugo. Although he ate his rice cereal with every bite, his dark eyes were glued to the piece of cake in front of Chi-Chi. His hand had been caught and moved away from the plate more than once.
"You are definitely your Grandpa's grandson," Chi-Chi huffed as she caught Trugo's fist from flying into the cake again.
"I think he's determined to get something sweet," Bulma said.
"I'm pretty sure Hana was sneaking him bites earlier," Chi-Chi grinned.
"She spoils him so much," Bulma chuckled.
"I'm glad she loves him so much," Chi-Chi sighed as she put the spoon down. She wrapped her arms around Trugo with a happy sigh and glanced around the backyard of Brief Manor.
Pink, purple, and blue balloons and streamers were thrown everywhere for Hana's mermaid bash birthday party. The four-year-old had been ecstatic to see a new trampoline, which she was currently jumping on with Trunks, Pan, and Goten. Marron and Gohan stood by the sides, holding little Kyou who was watching with wide eyes. Bulla ran up to them suddenly and yelled at Goten to help her up.
"I still can't believe the two of them thought they were fooling everyone," Chi-Chi clicked her tongue.
"Oh, me too!" Bulma laughed. Goten and Bulla head finally admitted to their relationship on Christmas, and they were shocked to find out that everyone had already known about their romance.
"Now, what are we going to do about those two?" Bulma asked as she watched Trunks and Pan hold Hana's hands and bounce her higher and higher as she giggled.
"They make it just as obvious as Goten and Bulla did," Chi-Chi sighed. "Honestly, if I had to guess, I think Pan feels like she would be burdening Trunks with the responsibility of raising a kid that isn't biologically his."
"Trunks loves Trugo as his own," Bulma's eyes widened in surprise.
"I know," Chi-Chi gently brushed Trugo's dark hair with her fingers. "And Panny loves Hana like her own," she smiled softly. "I think she sees how well things are now with them just being friends, and she's scared to take that next step."
Bulma sighed, "Honestly, I think it's the same for Trunks. As you know, Hana's birth mother was a real bitch, and she totally messed Trunks up. I don't think he knows what to think or how to move forward without feeling as if he's rushing things with Pan. I can tell he wants her; Pan has such a gentle love. It's exactly what Trunks and Hana both needed."
"I do hope they realize how much they love each other soon," Chi-Chi commented. "They play house nearly every weekend."
It was true. Pan and Trugo were over at Trunks' penthouse almost every weekend. "Isn't Panny going to North City in a few weeks?" Bulma raised an eyebrow. "I know when Trunks told me, he was extra pouty about it."
"Yes!" Chi-Chi said proudly. "She's taking Chef Julie's cooking courses. It'll last twelve weeks, so about three months. She'll be staying in North City for that time. I'll be going with her to watch Trugo during the day for her. She's super excited about it, because it will help with her vlogs, but I know she's already missing Trunks and Hana. She's mentioned more than once that she hopes they'll be able to come up for the weekend or she and Trugo will be able to visit them." She smiled then, "maybe this time apart will be what they need to realize they're meant to be?" She teased.
Bulma laughed, "Let's hope so. I know Bulla's about ready to lock them two into a room together."
"Who am I going to lock into a room together?" Bulla asked as she walked up with Goten.
