Winter

It was a cold breezy winter that time,
When you gambled to do a crime,
As you tried to play smart,
To capture this woman’s stony heart.

At first, I thought it was strange,
For someone to enter my world,
But you gave me love in exchange,
I never knew that’s when our story started to unfold.

Spring

It was during spring,
When you made my life so enchanting,
As you brought a ring,
And fulfilled your promise of being my lifetime King.

Everything that had happened was iconic,
But how could this season be so ironic,
For I wasn’t informed,
It’s the calm before the storm.

Summer

It was summer,
When God became unfair,
He made our sweet life became bitter,
As you were diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.

I summoned all the angels for you to recover,
But you perished sooner,
Causing so much rain during my midsummer,
Leaving me shattered forever.

Fall

This is the start of the season without you,
And I’m feeling blue,
For this is supposedly the season I’ll say I do,
While wearing the gown perfectly tailored by Michael Cinco.

I should be having tears of joy by now,
While reading to you my well-prepared vow,
But what’s left in me now is sorrow,
And the never-ending question of how.

Te Amo, Mi Amor.
