peter sat in the back of detective neal's car, Neal was driving him to the home to get his stuff.

he watched the buildings speeding away as they crossed the bridge to queens, it was blurry due to the heavy rain falling covering the window.

he's definitely going to a new orphanage, he didn't want to.
he got used to the routine of the home.
it was repetitive and predictable, it was safe. he feels safe with predictable people.

"here we are" he was sent back to reality by detective neal's voice.
he looked up to the now abandoned building.

Neal got out of the car opening the door for peter.
he hesitantly got out, leading the way inside the building and up the stairs .

he opened his bedroom door at the end of the hallway.
"cool room, private " the deticvative said , outlining the word private more.

peter glanced at him, he liked his room. its small and got everything he needs, a bed and a dresser with six drawers. and he's got one of the comfortable beds in this place.

he got the small suitcase from under the bed, it already contained half of his belongings due to the lack of space. "are you gonna keep watching me?" his voice was barely heardable but he wanted him gone.

"..I'll leave you to it" Neal said ,leaving with a knock on the door ,leaving it open.

peter watched making sure he went downstairs, he opened one of the bottom drawers getting his Spiderman suit out and tucking it into his suitcase.

he looked at the two pictures on the dresser, the first is him and his parents at the stark expo.
it was the last trip they had together.

the second was at his middle school science fair with aunt may and uncle Ben, he misses them so much.

he left the two picture frames for last, he opened the top drawer , taking his clothes and putting them into the suitcase .

he stepped back at the fall of an old camera, he knelt to grab it.
'huh, gwan liked this camera..she thought it was an antique'
he thought to himself before getting it up to his face, looking through the lenses he snapped a picture.

he smiled, putting it in his backpack.

he walked out of his room with his backpack and suitcase,  he froze in his place as he saw detective Neal examining the little closet.

"..oh hey peter" he glanced up at him then back to the closet "whats this used for?" he stood up undusting himself.

"...hang coats?"

"there's scratch marks on the door" Neal pointed out.

'please..LET ME OUT' he banged on the door , fighting to get out.

Peter's head twitched trying to get the memory out of his head " I don't know" he insisted making the detective sigh.

"Peter.." he walked up to the 15 year old boy, only for peter to step back. "I wanna help you, i want to make sure that a man like him never hurt anyone else"

"Mr Morris was a nice guy, he never intended to hurt anyone " Peter argued with anger in his voice.

"I'm sure he is ..but sometimes good people do bad things too" Neal approached him carefully "did he ever did a bad thing to you" he knelt infront of peter.

"No!!" he yelled at the deticvative, pushing him out of the way and leaves.

'sir, I would like to remind you of the school trip later this week..'

he sat still burryed in paperwork that he didn't hear steve entering.
"so I was looking up adoption centers and homes, I got three valid close ones"

steve sat on the couch, leg ontop of the other "tony?" he called as tony didn't respond.

"huh?" tony looked up "what did you say?" he scrubbed his eyes, stretching a little before looking back at steve.

"I found a few good orphanages..."

"yeah , okay.." tony went back to the stack of paper in front of him.

"what're you doing?" steve stood annoyed, he walked up to tony to look at the paper in his hands.

"I really need an assistant or I'll get bankrupted" tony nodded to his words, apparently he is losing a lot of money.

"you had a CEO before..what was her name?.."

"pepper potts" tony frowned ,thinking of how he could go back to earning millions again "no...me and her had a fall out way too long ago...she moved on"

"and statistically scince she left..your company went down the toilet " steve pointed at the graphics.

"..i need an assistant. ." tony mumbled to himself before getting up. " friday..send an email to the best unemployed assistants all around the world"

'..yes sir'

"you know it doesn't work like that..right?" steve watched tony as he walked to the counters in the corner.
