The new start of a new beginning

Kazuki POV

It's been weeks now since Yatagarasu was defeated, I recovered and got out of the hospital. To celebrate my recovery, the seeking club decided to do me a party along with the other members who fought Yatagarasu.

That day was all fun until today's Monday came.

No matter what situations come to me, I always have a part of me that feels tired when it comes to going to school. However, this is the life that I've wanted. A peaceful, normal, life, that was ironically turned into a bloody year of my life.

I wake up, prepare myself, and head to school as usual.

The trees were blossoming and were full of life, as the birds chirped in harmony.

This is certainly a great beginning to my now normal life.

As I was walking, I saw a familiar figure. A blonde girl, with a beautiful body that resembles someone I know. It's Akari. I immediately called out to her

"Hey Akari, Good morning!"

I greeted her with such a happygoing tone.

"Hey Kazuki, Good Morning!"

She replied in a much more enthusiastic tone.

"Are you walking alone?"

I asked.

"Yeah"

"Why don't we go to school together?"

"Sure! Let's go!"

Going to school with a girl is the best, especially since I just returned from a long recovery from the battle with Yatagarasu.

Just as we were walking and chatting along the way, I heard someone from behind us

I glance behind to see, Enju walking, looking at Akari with a frown expression on her face.

"Hey there, Enju!"

I called out to her.

Enju's gaze turned to me, and she started averting her gaze to the side, looking a little flustered.

"Oh, G-Good morning, Kazuki."

She said as if she forced herself to greet me.

"Good Morning Enju!"

Akari greeted as she waved her hand cheerfully.

"Good morning, Akari."

She slowly walked towards us as Akari bombarded her with many questions. This brings me back to when I first arrived here. They are also the ones I first met, and walking together surely brings nostalgia.

This is also where the bike incident happened. What a nice sense of deja vu.

After a few minutes of walking, we finally reached the school and our classroom. And greeting me was,

"Look who finally decided to come back,"

"You're finally back, my best buddy, Kazuki."

"There you are, fellow otaku. Welcome back!"

It was Yamabuki, Nanao, and John, greeting me with warm smiles on their faces. It's good to be back really. I finally reached an ending where I could rest, and just enjoy the rest of my high school life without any ninja troubles in the way.

3rd PPOV

Meanwhile in another dimension, in an unknown place, was a group of unknown people.

"So, Yatagarasu was defeated?"

A deep, male voice spoke in a shadowed place.

"Yes. However, Shea and Kokua escaped."

A playful, light, male voice replied in return.

"So, even your student, Guten, was defeated. Who was able to defeat them?"

"The current ninjas of this era, the Kamuy user and the so-called "Ninja-Seeking Club."

"Ninja-Seeking Club, I haven't heard of them."

"Well, that's why Master told you to go and check them out."

"I know. I will be back."

Then, the figure turned into a flock of crows and disappeared within the shadows.

"Aah~, for centuries we have hidden, and finally, it's time to spread our wings again."

The figure said in a light voice as his laugh echoed throughout.
