Kazuki POV

It has been several minutes since I started walking around, looking for a way around to them. It's

 like I'm walking in a maze with no finish line, I can't find any exits or any other paths aside from 

the ones I've been through. That is until I came upon a field. There was no fire there, but it was 

surrounded by fallen debris and rocks in a square shape. I entered it, trying to find if there was a 

path there leading up to them. The moment one of my foot stepped in, the air had somehow 

become tense and cold. And there's some part of me that tells me, " Don't go there, leave". But I 

disregarded that feeling and continue moving on. As I get deeper inside this space, the more I 

feel nervous. I can't shake this feeling that something is gonna come for me, murder me, or 

something like that. Then, I heard a distinct voice,

"Yo Kamuy! Watcha doing here alone? It's dangerous to wander off in such places!"

It's familiar. It's certainly not from my allies and friends, I turned around to the direction of the 

voice. 

It was behind me, in the distance was, Akashi, the 8th pillar, blocking my entrance door. 

He was standing in a bad boy kind of way, loose collar and tie, hands in the pocket and 

unbuttoned coat.

I grabbed the hilt of my kamuy and turned my guard to full. 

"No need to be that caution around me, I'm a friendly fellow!"

"..."

"It's rude to just ignore someone talking to you, didn't your mother teach you some manners?

"..."

Despite his provocation, I remained calm and still, hiding the annoyance inside me

To be honest, I don't plan on fighting him, I have many urgent things to do. How exactly do I 

escape him?

"How exactly do I escape him? Is that what you are thinking?"

"What the."

Did he just read my mind??

"Did he just read my mind? Yes, I did. I can read your thoughts based on the flow of energy inside

 you. Of course, I can also see the energies coursing through your veins, The state of your body, 

and every information about it, which makes looking for your weakness much easier!"

He disappeared and reappeared just a breadth away from me.

So fast!

I was startled that I didn't notice he was about to attack. I felt a strong force collide with my 

stomach as I moved back. He hit me right in the stomach with his palms.

I quickly jumped back and unsheathed my Kamuy.

This guy is different from the others. He doesn't give off any negative aura, yet why am I  

nervous? His presence isn't like the other pillars who have refined and distinct composture.

But he, something about him is off, greatly off, like there's still something hiding inside him.

" Don't be scared! I'm not hiding anything, I'm clear!"
