The not-so-good new year (final)

Few days had passed. It's now 8 pm on December 31. The past days went out in a flash. Nothing crucial happened. Just us. Enjoying ourselves.

It's currently 11:00 pm, We're in our room, just got back from the tour we received from our prize. 

Iroha: I'm worn out! 

Iroha says as she threw herself in the bed,

Enju: Iroha-san, You must take off your coat first

Iroha: Yes, Yes,

Cy: It was so fun! I want to go there again! Right, Onii-chan?

Kazuki: Yeah, The ride was amazing. 

Iroha: But.... Where is Kaede?

Enju: Now that you've said it, 

Cy: Oh, While on our way, She whispered to me that she needed to go somewhere and we should go first.

I wonder where she'd gone off to.

Kaede POV

I hid inside one of the stalls inside the bathroom. I let out a deep breath before checking my phone. 

"Mail from Yasu"

How did he find my new number? I deleted him ages ago and even bought and new sim. I tapped the message notification and the messaging app popped up. 

"Hey, How are you doing? If you're wondering about me, I've been happy for the past few days, Very happy! I met an old friend! I miss her so much. I forgot if you met her already but it doesn't matter! Anyway, back to the topic, How are you? I hope you're doing well! And lastly, I just wanna tell you that I'm excited cause we'll be meeting again! let's keep this a secret shall we? It's only for your eyes, Not for the eyes of your friends! That's all, Looking forward to meeting you again!"

This honestly concerns me, Don't tell me they'll raid Tokyo, No, No, They're not the type to do that. What did he mean by " Meeting again?" Personal? Perhaps declaration of war? 

Just as I was racking my brain, 

"My, My, It sure is crowded back there"

I heard a voice. I guess someone is here, I should probably leave. I stood up and opened the stall door. There was a woman here looking in the mirror and putting on lipstick. She has long bluish-white hair and sparkling, alluring, and angelic eyes. She wore a coat with a blue wool hat and a pink scarf along with winter boots and black jeans. She looks like a model. For some reason, My encounter with her gives me a weird feeling, like we've met before in the past years. It's a feeling I can't shake off. Anyway, I walked towards the door but, as soon as I touched the knob,,

"Leaving already?"

 Leaving already? That weirded me out to my core. 

"Uhmm.. "

I awkwardly turned around and spoke

"W-What do you mean?" I reluctantly replied

"It's exactly what it meant. Kaede-chan"

My heart sank to my stomach as I felt a cold chill run down my spine. How did she know my name.. And that voice, I knew it was very familiar. 

"Good to see you again, How are your friends doing? It's almost been like 2 years. Do you remember me?"

D-Don't tell me..... This is the first time I've been this scared. I'm literally shaking all over. I'm paralyzed, I-I can't move. I remained standing there, Not knowing what to do.
