This takes place after the ending of Liu Kang becoming a God and Raiden becomes "merely Raiden." I feel like there should be a little cute ending for him uwu. So I'm just gonna... change history lol. By the power of Kronika's hourglass, enjoy!~~

Once the news got out of Raiden no longer being a demigod, you were quite baffled and curious to see your lover in a new light. Once he returned you embraced him and he simply chuckled.
"I'm very glad to see you..."
"I as well, Y/N," he pulled away to take a look at your face. Giving him a quick peck and smiling sweetly, you held his cheek lovingly.
"What are you going to do now that you're not "Lord" Raiden?" you laughed.
"I... do not know," he looked troubled.
Luckily, you had the idea of wanting to live a peaceful life. With the help of a couple of friends, you both managed to move into a cozy cottage (or something else just thought it was cute uwu) located in (place. I'd like to hear where you guys move to lol and what you guys live in :D)
It was a raining and thundering night when you found yourself looking through a window. Exiting your room, you see Raiden meditating in the middle of your living room. Raiden opened his eyes to you intently watching him. You smiled at him.
"Is something wrong?"
"Oh, no of course not. I just...." you walked over to him. "I love you..."
            Raiden stood up to meet your eyes. "And I as well, Y/N. I could never have a better partner such as yourself."
            You felt yourself blushing and looking away. Raiden only smiled at you and held you in his arms. "Care to dance?" he asked.
            You smirked and bowed, "But of course, Lord Raiden."
            Raiden chuckled and took your hand as you two swayed while the storm only raged from outside. The water trickling down the windows projected a beautiful reflection upon the floor. You felt the rumble of thunder from outside and you know Raiden could feel it too.
            Within the capturing moment, you found yourself staring into Raiden's eyes, entranced and amazed. And ever so slowly, you both inched forward to meet in a sweet kiss. Wrapping your arms around Raiden's neck and him holding you gently.
            You couldn't help but sigh into the kiss, as you pulled back. Your foreheads leaning against each other while the sound of the storm drifted.
           "Words can never express my affection and love for you, Y/N," Raiden speaks as the lighting strikes one last time.
