4. Our Last Day

Seena's POV: I finally have enough sun to finally get to the cottage without busting into a tree or something. I walk up to the door slowly not to wake up anyone but then again the door could be locked. I put my left hand in the handle and it just popped right open. They left it unlocked overnight. It's not like where they live is super dangerous but it can be because of how close they are to the Burroughs but it's fine, it's not like it's gonna matter anyway after today. I walk into the cottage quietly and am sadly greeted by Keona passed out on the dinning table with an empty bottomless of wine from the orphanage with a lot of tear stains all over her face. I wiped some of them off and I slowly and gently picked her up in my arms and carried her to her room upstairs and I quietly opened her door so not even a little crack was made. I made it over to her bed and slowly laid her down and she just rolled onto her side as if nothing happened. I look at her calm peaceful face and I place my hand on the top of her head and I move some of her hair out of her face and I lead close in and lightly kiss her forehead. I get back up and lightly smile in content while looking at her one last time and I head out of her room and quietly close the door. I close the door and fuck. Erick looks at me with a dark intense look filled with silent rage. " You're seeing my sister" I froze for half a second and I looked at him and back at Keona in her bed all nice and cozy and I looked back at a silently enraged Erick. I slightly sigh feeling defeated. I usually would care but this is my best friend's twin sister and I love her and we grew up together all of us, it's not something that could be just walked away from. "Yes'' I nod my head waiting for his response. "What the fuck man?" "What do you want me to say" "Oh yeah how long have you guys been together huh? How long do you think you could keep it from all of us?" He raises his voice a little while lifting his right hand in a circling manner to emphasize everyone in the house. "Three days" "What do you mean three days?" I sharply inhaled and looked at him matching the same intense glare. " Three days since it started" "Don't be a dumbass tell me since you've guys done what" "Chill out I only kissed her'' He finally breaks eye contact with me and looks at Keona and sighs while rubbing his face with his hands. "Listen I was going to tell you sooner or later and ask and everything I just got caught up in this..." Yeah, rebelling against your King and Queen isn't exactly when you should tell your best friend you're courting his sister. "We haven't done anything too big if that's why you're so pissed off" Erick sighs in relief and looks at his sister and nods me to head downstairs with him to the living room.

Erick's POV:

I can't believe this shit but what can I do about it. I can't control them.

Jack's POV:

"You should've just told me from the beginning" "I know man I know" "No you obviously dont I don't care how long we've known each other, she is MY sister" "I know I know" I just looked at him with my head tilted slightly down while remaining eye contact. I mean I understand why he's feeling this way I mean I would feel the same way if it were me. But I still love his sister and his anger towards me isn't going to change that. I walk up closer to him and get in his face calmly. We move out of Keona's room with us ignoring each other. This is not how I wanted to start off the new move. I walk down stairs to the living room and I plop onto the couch and I look at the barely lit sky from the window and I fucking pass out.

(Same time leading as Seena's POV)

Keona's POV: I hear the creaking of the old wooden steps getting stomped on by Seena and I see Erick leaning against the door frame with an annoyed and disappointed look on his face. I roll my eyes and groan "What happened?" "Nothing. Don't worry about it". "What could have possibly happen now?" "I saw you and Seena...umm" "What" "Nothing it's fine" He slowly starts to sound defeated. I put a scowl on my face and I got up front my bed and I put my hands on my hips. "Can you fucking tell already" "I saw Erick carrying you and kissing you"

Sometimes he really does start to sound like a little brother. I sigh and rub my face. "What. What do you want to say huh". " Why do you think this was okay" I feel my face getting red. How dare he! Who is he to judge. "Are you fucking kidding me. I have the right to love and be with whoever I want. It's NOT DECIDED BY YOU, SEENA, THE KING OR QUEEN BUT ONLY BY GOD HIMSELF". "HE'S MY FRIEND AND YOU'RE MY SISTER I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU" I start to feel big tears well up in my eyes from the build up stress of not telling him. I feel my arms and my whole body shaking in a rage and everything came crashing all at once. I get silent to a whisper. "Fuck you" I run out of the room to get away from him and his whole demeanor changed in half a second from rage to regret. "Sis, I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry" I hear him from upstairs. "Yeah you never do" I hear him come down the stairs. It's just him and I some down stairs in the living room. "You know I know you don't like the reality of me being with Seena, no you hate it actually but I'm not going to change that because you don't agree with it" I start choking from holding back tears. He comes closer and hugs me gently. "I loo-love him, but don't tell him that I want to hear him say it first" I giggle a little but he rolls his eyes. "Oh my gosh" he lowly groans. "Come on little brother we have to get going" I hear creaking from the stairs and I see everyone else coming down after hearing our argument. I look at all of them and they all have their bags with their things, mainly clothes and some with pillows and homemade toothbrushes. They're all looking down in defeat that we have to leave the home we've all worked so hard to get and now we have to leave it like dust until further notice. I go up the stairs quickly to grab all my clothes and such. I go to my little bedside desk that's round with the old wood looking like it's about to break apart. I grab my family's Heirloom bible and my little sewing kit consisting of 3 needles of all different sizes and little rolls of threat that matched the princesses' dresses and I push it into little bag holding all of my belongings and my little pillow because only God knows what's been going on with those castle pillows. I look at my little bed that's probably older than me. I look at the only floor that's curved in a weird slope form and at my old dust ceiling. I feel my face start to get hot and I feel big hot tears go down my cheeks and land on my lips and I taste the salt. I go to the door that's a light pink from the old paint fading away. I look into my room as a whole once more. It's pretty fucked up. It's falling apart at the seams and is older than all of our ages put together. It may not be the best or worst room in the whole universe but it's mine. I look up at my ceiling again only trying to look through it and see the sky with clouds and I close my eyes for a slight second and I thank God and Jesus for letting us have this house in the first place. I heard a little whisper in my ear almost silent and only my soul could hear. "The best is yet to come". I gasp and look behind me to check if anyone's there and no one. I look back up at the sky and smile feeling the urge to cry again but no tears come. I mouthe "Thank you" to God and I close my door and head back down stairs to the rest of everyone. "Let's go... OH SHIT WAIT MY BAG". I ran back upstairs for my stuff and ran back down. Seena looks at me with a face of 'really' and signs in relief. "Yeah grab it because we can't come back" "That's so sad" I hear my voice heighten and kind of whimpering. "It's supposed to be".

Seena's POV:

I look into the hallway to see if anything is left to bring and sadly no. We all walk through the door slowly and desperately sad and I close and keep the door unlock Incase someone else might want to use it since we probably aren't coming back.
