Chap 13

Weekend seemed to come by early. Things have been pretty busy and hectic; I must admit that I'm thankful for Jeff to ask me about spending weekend with him.

It's about ten in the morning, I woke up at eight to stare outside the window for about a whole 30 minutes, before getting up to take a shower and do breakfast.

I decided to sing some songs to pass time. Jeff is going to come pick me up, with glenne as well unless something goes wrong.

They didn't tell me the time at which they're going to pick me up so I have no idea but I'm ready.

I started strumming the guitar as I hummed a song. Trying my best to think about something good for the album that I'm thinking of making soon.

Soon enough, I hear the door bell ringing. I get up from my couch, putting the guitar down so I can go and answer the door.

I opened the door and saw glenne.
My lips immediately turning into a smile.

"G, hey"

I grinned, I was seeing her after a long time. I pull her into an embrace as she does the same.

"Hey H. I missed you"

My grin gets bigger.

"Yeah, I did too. Where's your man?"

I asked as she chuckled.

"He's in the car"

I looked behind her and there was a black car, Jeff noticed me looking at him through the window as he showed me a middle finger.

"Haha yeah, he's very sweet. Sure does know how to greet someone"

"Uh for sure, he's got some manners"

I laughed lightly as she shook her head.

We both started walking towards the car, surprisingly glenne sat at the back of the car.

"Thanks glenne, I didn't wanna feel like both of your kid again"

Glenne laughed, keeping her eyes at the phone.

"Hello mister sweet fuck"

I extended my hand to Jeff who thought it was a good idea to still not greet me.

"Oh hey H"

He gave me a smile, but a sarcastic one.

"Is he on his period?"

I asked glenne, who burst out in laughter.

"No, he's just a bit moody today"

"And may I ask why?"

"He didn't wanna wake up for today"

I looked at Jeff who was driving now, his eyes at the road.

"One must ask how can someone be in a bad mood when they've planned something themselves"

Jeff rolled his eyes for the hundredth time in 4 minutes of my presence with him.

"Your eyes are going to fall back from your head, if you keep doing that mate"

Glenne snorted a laugh as I tried to contain mine as well.

"Where are we?"

I asked as Jeff stopped the car.

"In the town"

Jeff replies.

"Oh I thought we were in the woods"

Glenne replied and I smirked.

We all get out of the car as he starts to walk in front of us.

"Okay enough, both of you"

Jeff turns towards both of us and we nodd. Not wanting to ruin his mood anymore.

"What's bothering him?"

I ask Glenne as she walks with me.

"He's just exhausted today, but I didn't wanna ruin our plan so I forced him to come"

"Uh han. Leave that. How's ya?"

"Oh I'm good! Did I tell you I went to visit my family 2 weeks ago?"

"Uh. No actually, you didn't. Not even Jeff"

"Damn do you both not talk about me at all?"

"Why would we talk about you?"

She frowned and looked at me.

"What do you mean? I'm his girlfriend. He should talk about me. I thought you talk about the ones you love to everyone"

I chuckle.

"Do you talk about him?"

She shook her head as a no.
"Nope?"

"So? It's not necessary to talk about someone you love all the time or to everyone. What matters is, what goes in your heart for that person"

"Zayn sure did teach you a fuck ton of love"

She smirks towards me.

I sigh and shake my head.

"May God give me strength with the both of you"

I reply as she laughs

"Let's get the coffee first guys"

Jeff turns around, and asks us.

"Sure. I want the cappuccino"

I say.

"Who told you I'm buying it?"

He says.

"You asked?"

"Okay you're right, I should go"

Glenne tells him what she wants and he finally walks towards the coffee shop.

"I think he gets extra dumb when he's upset or moody"

I take a seat on a bench while speaking.

"He gets more than dumb when he's moody"

"Such as?"

"I don't know, very 'jeff' like?"

I make a face at her.

"You're losing your mind staying with him as well"

She shrugs.

"Anyway where was I? My family, yeah!"
