"... I look at you and I see my future. Without you, I can't imagine my life." Avery gets down on one knee and smooths out her hands on her jacket before reaching into the pocket attached on the inside. Paige's hands fly to her mouth as tears stream down her chocolate face. Her eyes lock on the red velvet box that her lover has hidden from her. "Andrea Denise Reed... will you marry me?" Avery asks not paying attention to the eyes that are staring at her and her girlfriend. The world around them pauses as they are only focused on each other. The tears continue to stream down Andrea's face while she tries to look for anything deceiving in her lover's eye. Her line of sight trails down to look at the glistening band that resides in a satin pillowcase. The curve of the diamond fits perfectly and she just knows that it is the right size. Slowly, her eyes travel up as she nods her head while whispering words of confirmation. Avery springs up from her position and takes her lover into her arms while letting her tears fall. Family and friends around them clap and cheer, but the two women drown them out. They sit in each other's arms for what feels like an eternity, but it was only a couple of seconds. Avery pulls back enough to grab her fiance's hand, the ring slides on perfectly, almost like it was made for her. They look into each other's eyes, and Avery swears that she can see their future together. They both lean in with tear covered lips. Their lips move together in sync. Andrea's tongue begs for entrance but Avery's smile ends up breaking the kiss. They both pull apart with arms intertwined and smiles covering their faces. They let go of each other when their families began to swarm them and a slew of congratulations and "I'm so happy for you," filled the air.
