Chapter 8

Silence is all I live in. Nothing good ever seems to last. Jake and I were bestest friends, and now it seems like everything has changed. I feel so alone, he was the one person always by my side, and now it's like he doesn't even know me. Every time I look in his direction, he just gives me a death glare, and quickly turns away. I talked to Snake today, and Brittany just looked at me with hatred and made Snake hurry away. Luckily, tonight I have another date with Max. He said his parents wouldn't be home until late, so I get to go to his house. I put on a silky black blouse, short black skirt, and black heels. Along with that, I add on red lipstick, mascara, black eyeliner, and I also curl my hair. After that, I grab my purse with my phone in it and head outside where the car is already parked in my driveway for me.

His jaw drops open when he sees me. "Hey Raven." He starts to become nervous, it's in his voice.

"Hey." I say back smiling. He grabs my hand and takes me into his car. He drives fast, and we end up at his house in ten minutes. I get out of the car to see that it's a decent sized house. I stare in amazement. Then, I feel Max's hands around me as he throws me over his shoulder and brings me into the house. He places me down once we get inside. I instantly smell pizza walking in the door. Max places me on the couch, passionately kisses me, and then walks out of the room. I look around to see white walls and carpet, a 60 inch flat screen, black leather couch, love seat, and chair, along with giant black onyx chandiliers hanging from the ceiling. Not to mention the giant windows that bring in a lot of light. I stare at the room in awe as Max walks in with pizza and soda. He sits down next to me, kisses me, and then turns on the TV. We eat pizza and watch a Disney movie. After its over, I feel his hands back on me.

My back is against his chest, and I feel his hands around my waist. "Let's go to my room." He says seductively while nibbling my ear. He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder again, and then throws me onto his bed. He gets on top of me and begins placing kisses on my neck. I moan, but then I see him take his shirt off.

"Um...Max? What are you doing?"

"Come on Raven. I know you've done it before. Let's just do it. No one has to know." I feel panic beginning to rise inside of me.

"Max, I couldn't even remember doing it the first time. Besides, I don't want to." Anger began to rise in his face. He began to take his belt off and I could see that this wouldn't be ending good.

"Look, I bought you sushi, helped you get more popular, and now I'm keeping your secret. You are going to have sex with me." He started taking his pants off, and then I pushed him off of me.

"No." I say sternly, getting off of the bed. "I don't want to and that is final." I go back to the living room and grab my purse. I dial Jake's number to come and get me, hoping he would answer. It goes to voicemail, and just as I'm about to get up, Max knocks me down, the phone coming out of my hand.

"You're going to do this." Max says to me in a stern voice. He starts trying to take clothes off, and I scream. I kick him in the balls, and quickly run to the front door, but unfortunately I can't open it. I see the back door, and I try going for it, but he gets on top of me. We begin fighting, me trying to get away, and him trying to get me down. I kick and run, but he just keeps on pinning me down until finally, he slaps me hard across the face.

Images flashing before my mind of all the times I was abused and molested. It brings tears to my eyes, but the feel of cool air on my skin causes me to come back to my senses. I only have underwear on, preventing him from being able to officially rape me.

"You ready for it?" He says with lust. I scream out in pain. "Well, that's just too bad." He rips off my underwear and I scream. Right when I do, the front door bursts open and Jake walks in.
