The next day I decided to call Carl and see if we could hang for awhile. He said that Debbie was forcing him to go to this gender reveal party for her unborn baby. I thought it was amazing idea so I told him we were going because if not Debbie would have no support system at all and that is not what she needs.

Walking into the building was like a child's first time in an aquarium or a candy shop. Jaw dropping. I questioned what the fuck Carl could be doing to afford even one night here. It was like a mansion where you could rent a room out of.

318, 320, 321. I stopped in front of the door and knocked hard on the door. After a few seconds the door swung open.

"How the fuck can you affor..." I trailed off seeing Carl in only a white robe. A seductive grin formed on his plump lips.

"What were you saying sugar?" He continued to smirk at me. Quickly, I shook myself out of it and pushed through the open door and Carl.

"How can you afford this? Are you still working for G-Dogg?" I questioned him, my eyes searching every inch of the room to make sure what I was seeing was real before turning to look at him. He awkwardly stood in front of the dresser causing my curiosity to peak. "Are you hiding something?"

"No." He answered softly. I just rolled my eyes and turned to see Nick lying face first on the mattress.

"Hey Nick." I spoke kindly, but not even a wave or smile in response. "What's up with him?"

"I don't know, something about a bike. But do we have to go to Debbie's thing?" Carl groaned, "We could stay here and get a little frisky in the hot tub."

My face flushed red but I shook my head, " No. I will not let one more Gallagher not support her. She needs all that she can get. So that means me and you are going. Nick too."

"Whatever, lemme get dressed." I watched him squander around looking for clothes before heading into the bathroom.

Within ten minutes we were off to a brand new car that Carl had bought.

"You can't even drive." I spoke as we stood staring at the gorgeous car I knew none of us could afford.

"Yeah, but Nick can." He shoved my shoulder throwing the keys over to Nick. I sat in the back of the car filling with rage every time Carl changed the station before we arrived at this little bakery where Debbie stood.

"Hey gorgeous," I smiled stepping out of the car to help her in. She rolled her eyes, but I could see a small smile make it on her face. "You excited?"

"Hell yeah, I'm gonna find out if this little one is a girl or boy." She smiled caressing her stomach.

"I'm betting on a boy." Carl said slyly from the front.

"I hope its a boy too, but I have a feeling its a girl." I smiled to Debbie and she nodded her head.

"It would be so much easier to raise a bo- Holy fuck! What are you doing?" Debbie screamed as Nick took a sharp left turn.

"Nick what the fuck?" I yelled as Debbie continued to scream 'I'm pregnant' over and over.

"Nick! Calm down!" Carl joined in as we followed a young boy on a bike. "Think of the fucking cows man!"

As Carl repeated something about a farm Nick began to slow down. We ended up still on the side of the street, me helping Debbie get re-situated and holding her cupcakes for her. Carl looked back at me.

'What the fuck was that' I mouthed to him and he didn't respond. In return he gave me a sorrowful look seeing how livid I was.

IN the end we ended up making it safely to the cancer patient's house. Debbie explained to me she was helping the woman out in exchange for a place to squat basically. It was really fucked up on so many levels but it wasn't my problem I guess.

After the stunt Nick had pulled I had a really bad feeling while we were at this strange woman's house. He was constantly looking out of the windows.

"Alright everyone ready?" Debbie said excitedly. I gave her a reassuring thumbs up as the woman gave her a knife. Frank looked bored as ever, but Nick was getting more ancy.

Right before Debbie even had the chance to cut her cupcake, Nick took off. Carl went to check on him before yelling and running out of the house. I looked at Debbie with an apologetic face before following in pursuit after Carl and Nick. I didn't know where I was going but all I did know was this was what the bad feeling was about.

I felt my body soar with adrenaline, but every ounce of my body was filled with worry. Where was I running off to?
