Adora's POV

She collapsed back onto her bed after closing out of the tab on her phone, she had finally bought a plane ticket. She was leaving in about a week so she had to start packing. Adora heard someone enter her room and she looked up to see Catra holding her folder, her hand was shaking and she had a tear stained face. "Catra..?" Adora said quietly as she sat up, she then saw the folder and gasped before going to reach out for her. "No, you don't understand I was-" she tried to explain but Catra's booming voice over powered her's, "No I think I understand perfectly well! You were just going to abandon me again! I mean fuck Adora this college is in Elberon! Do you know how far away that is?!" Catra yelled, her tail lashing behind her. Adora flinched and countered with, "I was going to tell you yesterday but you just cut me off!" She felt her eyes tearing up, she didn't want to lose Catra again after just seeing her again. It's been nearly a month since they first saw each other for the first time again. "You were going to leave again after you left so many years ago.." she whispered, her voice shaking. "Catra please.." Adora pleaded as Catra threw down the folder and began to walk away, "Catra!" She yelled and seized the catgirl's wrist. "Please don't leave me.." Adora begged, the tears had already fallen and more were on the way. "No you don't get to do this, not this time!" She hissed and tore her wrist from the grasp before storming out of the house.
Adora had been curled up for hours, she lost the ability to cry about 2 hours ago so she just laid curled up on the floor. The blonde had called Glimmer to come pick her up, Bow was out doing his own thing so he wouldn't be present. Glimmer helped Adora into her car when she arrived and drove her to where Glimmer was previously hanging out. It was at her house of course.

Catra's POV

Catra ate ice cream and sniffed as she stared at the blank tv. "She's going to leave, again." Her lip quivered at the thought and she began to cry again, her head falling so she was staring down at the blurry ice cream. Her vision clouded by the tears, she felt Melog rub against her leg and purr. "Now I know why you had such a problem with Adora." Catra spat bitterly as she shoved another mouthful of ice cream into her mouth before saying, "You knew she was hiding something. Didn't you? You're just so smart." She praised as she pulled the creature closer, "Would you believe me if I said I wanted her to leave?" Catra whispered, laying her head down on Melog. The creature let out a noise and Catra sighed, "Yeah I know. I don't want her to leave. It hurts so much." She cried and buried her face into Melog's fur.
She didn't know how long she laid there. Catra figured she cried herself to sleep and it was now around 11am. The catgirl sat up and rubbed her eyes before looking around and remembering what had went down between her and Adora. Her ears flattened and she laid back down, wanting to fall back asleep.

Adora's POV

Glimmer and Frosta listened as Adora struggled to get through the story without crying. "Want me to punch her in her face for you?" Frosta grinned freakishly as she eyed her fists. "No Frosta, Adora why didn't you tell me that you were dating Catra?" Glimmer frowned and placed her hand on top of Adora's who just rambled out words that were jumbled together and hoped Glimmer would understand. "Oh you were afraid we would disapprove? Oh honey, we would never disapprove of you being happy." Glimmer sighed and twined their fingers together before quickly untwining them as Entrapta came up. She looked shy but placed her hand shakily on top of Adora's head and began to pat it as if she were a dog. "I may not understand this kind of stuff, but would you want to come see what I've made to make you feel better?" Entrapta nervously said, her head lowered slightly as she took her hand away. Everyone looked shocked by the action, well everyone except Adora who just sniffled and nodded, letting herself be pulled away by the short woman.
Adora seemed to have forgotten about Catra temporarily, so it was obvious Entrapta did a good job at distracting her. Soon Adora curled up on the couch, watching Entrapta make stuff out of simple objects. It soon tired her and she fell asleep.

"You forgot to dry the dishes Adora!" Her farther yelled and Adora winced. She felt a sting occur on her cheek, her father had slapped her. "Do it now," he warned before storming off outside. Probably to go smoke or drink. Her mother appeared behind her and placed a hand on her shoulder, "I'm sorry Adora, he's been more aggressive than usual today. You need to remember to do your chores." She said before walking away, Adora felt fresh warm tears run down her cheek and she placed a hand on her cheek as she began to dry the dishes.

"You will listen to me young lady!" Her dad yelled, she winced as the hand came down and onto her cheek.

Adora woke up with a gasp and looked around frantically. "Hey, hey calm down." She heard the soothing voice of Glimmer, she felt hands on her shoulders and the short woman gazing into her eyes. "Let me guess, parents again?" She asked and watched as Adora nodded. Adora sat up fully and placed a hand on her knee, "You stayed the night, you were so upset. How are you feeling?" Glimmer asked as she began to brush Adora's hair out of her face. "I'm okay. Still very upset but I'll live I guess." Adora muttered and laid back down, "I'm going to sleep."
