chapter eighteen: it's just cliché

brace yourself! this chapter moves fast, so read it slow PLEASE!!

Once I finished packing up all of my stuff, I went to go talk to Finn in his room, I had to make things right with him. Even though I didn't do anything to him. I went up to the door that stated Finn Wolfhard on it, and knocked.

"Who is it?" Finn said, and he sounded angry.

"Um, it's y/n." There was silence before I saw the doorknob turn and a familiar face open the door.

"What do you want." Finn rolled his eyes.

"Geez, no need for tone, just wanted to talk to you." I started to walk in but he pushed me out.

"Didn't you already try that? Leave me alone, whore." My mouth. dropped.

"Um, excuse me? Who gave you the write to speak to me like that."

"No one, just decided too." He said with a smirk on his face. He's making this way harder than it should be.

"Just let me in!... please?" I look at him with puppy dog eyes. He then rolls his and opens the door, gesturing for me to come in.

"What." He stated.

"Listen, I know things have been awkward between us, since you know you almost bashed my head open then tried to kiss me." I try to sympathize, but he chuckles and shakes his head, pulling a cigarette out of his pocket, and lighting it.

"Listen, y/n. We're not friends, we could've been, but we're not."

"Why? What did I ever do to you?" I start to raise my voice.

Finn doesn't say anything.

"Well? Are you deaf." I wave my hand at him and he slaps it away.

"The fuck?" I say to him.

"Just shut up okay! Listen, I liked you and you chose my best friend, that's how the story goes isn't it? It's so cliché! But in every story, we're supposed to be enemies." He yells at me and gets up to walk away.

"Finn! Wait!" I grab his hand and he turns around, his face is stained with tears. I turn my head at him as he tries to pull away, so I do the only thing I can do, I pull him into a hug. After a couple seconds, he hugs back.

We stay in the embrace and slowly drop to the floor, him crying into my shoulder. I slowly lift my head up from his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" I ask, and Finn nods slowly.

"I'll be fine."

"Friends?" I ask.

"Friends" he responds.

I hug him again before he gets up and helps me up.

"Now let's finish packing up our shit, see you in the parking lot?" I look at him with a slight smile.

"Yeah," he smiles, "see ya there."

*timeskip to the parking lot*

"Hey Noah!" I smile as I run up to him, even though I saw him like five minutes ago.

"Hey babe! Ready to go?"

"Yep! Just give me a second" I say as I walk over to Finn's car as he's putting his stuff into it. I give him a hug then run back to the car and get in.

"That's new?" Noah says as he buckles his seat belt.

"Yeah, we made up, I'm glad we did, I didn't want to live my life with him hating me." I giggle as I relax in my chair.

We drive home as I get lost deep in thought. Thinking of how much better my life was now that Finn and I didn't have any tension between each other.

It's been a while now, life stayed the same, everything was great, well until this happened.

It was premiere night for Crimson, and I was having an amazing time on the red carpet taking pictures, answering questions and all. But then I saw Jack, but hopefully he won't notice me.

I discreetly try to walk past Jack, but before I can he grabs my wrist, "Round 2?" He smirks and chuckles in my ear, but I pull my wrist away and keep walking. He's such a douchebag I swear to god.

When I sit down in the movie theater, Noah say next to me, and Jack sat on the other side of me.

And of course, once the movie started, there he was again with his hand on my thigh. I didn't know what to do, so I kept scooting closer to Noah, but he wouldn't stop, moving closer and closer to my v-line, I hit his hand off. Noah noticed.

"Everything okay?" He whispered to me.

"Yeah, everything's fine," I told him. Noah nodded and put his arm around me.

Jack put his hand back on and Noah saw.

"What the fuck?" He whispered.

Jack quickly turned his head and took his hand off me. "Sorry man."

"Oh you're gonna be fucking sorry!" His voice started to get louder so I hushed him down.

Jack got up and walked out of the theater to the back lot, and Noah followed him.

"Babe!" I whisper shouted then followed him.

As Noah made his way out I shouted to him.

"It's fine really! it's over now! Everything's okay!"

"No it's not fucking okay!" He said pushing the door open then walking up to Jack.

"What do you want!" Hack turned around, a cigarette between his two fingers.

"I want you to keep your hands off women!" He shouted then punched Jack in the face. It wasn't long before they were on the ground.

I didn't know what to do, so I started crying.

"Guys stop please!" I yelled at them, "Stop!"

Just then Finn came out, he must of seen us walk out, because he was being followed by Sadie. They walked over and gasped. Finn tried to split them apart, and Sadie started yelling at them too. Sadie tried to comfort me as best she could, while Finn was still trying to split them apart. After what seemed like hours of fighting, Finn finally got them apart. He took some deep breaths then walked over to me and Sadie. Finn wiped my tears and looked at the boys.

"What the hell was this all for?" Sadie questioned.

"He has his hands on y/n!" Noah yelled.

"Seriously, Jack! Do you for his to every girl you meet?" Sadie rolled her eyes.

"Did he do it to you too?" Finn asked, turning his head to Sadie.

"Yes, in fact he did." Sadie crossed her arms and walked over to Jack, and before he could say anything, she kicked him in the nuts.

I couldn't help but laugh as she walked past towards me, giving me a high five.

We were all just standing there out of breath as paparazzi ran up to us.

"Guys we gotta go!" Noah yelled running back into the theater.

"Let the world know that Jack Dylan Grazer is a no good douchebag!"  I cheered and stuck on my middle finger to the cameras. Then we ran back into the theater, but Jack ran the other way.

I could NOT wait for this to be all of celebrity news.
