Enji's POV

I unlocked the front door to my house, letting my flames extinguish. It wasn't a particularly exciting day to be a hero, but that means nobody was hurt. I locked the door once inside, and walked to my room, careful not to wake Natsuo, Fuyumi, or Shoto.
"Enji?" I heard form my bed. Y/N lay on it, gripping one sheet in a death grip, tears in her eyes. Her small body was shivering, being exposed to the cool air. I leaned over her and held her small hand in mine.
"What's wrong, Y/N?"
"I-I missed you a lot..." She looked away, almost like she was embarrassed to say it. I tried my best to give a small and soft smile. I ran my hands through her hair, and down her jaw.
"I'm back now. There's no need to worry. I'll protect you." She chewed on her lip.
"C-Can I have a hug?" I smiled again and leaned down, wrapping my strong arms around my small lover's body.
"Let me go take a shower, and we can cuddle to your heart's content." She smiled and nodded, pushing her head into my hand.
"Ok, Enji." I kissed her forehead and walked into the bathroom.
After my shower, I returned to my bed and laid down. Y/N crawled closer to me, laying in between my arm and my torso. She looked so small and fragile against my muscular body. She pressed her cold body against my warm one, and she laid her head on my collarbone. I felt a drip of water on my chest. I looked down to see her nuzzling into me. I watched another tear fall from her lid and onto my bare skin.
"S-Sorry..." She stuttered, as I wiped it away. The next place my hand went was to her chin. I smiled at her lovingly and pressed my lips to hers. Her entire body was chilled. I wrapped my other arm around her small figure and held her close to my warm body. I pulled the blanket to cover both of us. Y/N wrapped her arms and legs around my right arm, hugging it tightly.
"I missed you, Enji. I love you." She nuzzled into my arm and I smiled.
"I missed you too, Y/N. I love you too." After a while, her heavy breathing on my arm lulled me into a deep sleep.
