Fifteen

Helix was in his bedroom. The curtains were closed but the sun was being stubborn and and got through tiny gaps and onto his face. He unlocked his phone and went on his Instagram page. There was a notification that his post had reached 2klikes. He opened it and saw a picture of him standing with Winter on his back and they were both smiling really big.

He remembered that day. She had hoisted herself onto his back with no warning and started saying giddy up horsey and he started running almost toppling over. Summer had taken that picture while they were all laughing.

That day was really fun. Helix missed spending time with his friends. But things change. He got up and started packing all his belongings. This place brought nothing but hurt. First his sister then his friends. He couldn't handle it. He just had to leave.

When he was packing, he kept coming across things that reminded him of the three. He threw them all away except one picture where all four of them had gone to the amusement park and had decided to take a picture infront of the giant wheel(as it was called). He kept that picture in his left pocket in his jacket. It was right above his heart.

When he put the last if his stuff in his car trunk, he took one last look at his shared home, sighed and drove off. Where he was going? He didn't know. He was just going as far away as possible where he would start afresh.

A/N
