NPov(Narrators Pov)

Just as the race's fangs were about to pierce Winter's neck, Helix grabbed the rage's collar and threw him back. Helix grabbed Winter's hand and took off but the rage snatched at Winter's ankle and managed to get a hold on it. She slipped out of Helix' grip and feel right into the rage's arms.

Helix landed again and was about to try and get Winter free but Winter shouted something to get him to leave before he got badly hurt.

"GO! GO! LEAVE ME! GO GET HELP! YOU CAN'T DO THIS ALONE!", Winter shouted before a heavy hand was put above her lips.

Helix nodded, turned, looked at Winter with a solemn expression them took off.

The rage jumped in a hole and landed in a dark and cold place. There was a pair of steel chairs by the wall and cuffs for arms and legs. Winter was sat on one of the chairs and cuffed in place. The rage sat right opposite her and took a deep breath before looking directly into the scowling Winter's eyes.

"Look. I don't want to hurt you-", he started.

"Then why were you trying to sink your fangs into my neck? What? You didn't think that would hurt?", Winter spat.

"Shut up and listen. I am a rage yes but you can call me Rodney. Rod for short. Or. Even Rad😉. Ok, I get it. That sucked. Anyway, before I turn you. I need to explain what being a rage is. Everyone thinks it's a virus or a disease when its just an improvement. Look at me for example.   I wasn't this strong before but when I was turned, I became the hot, muscular dude standing before you. If everyone was a rage, we would all be stronger, smarter and all good things. Just that how some people react to the power is uh. A little mishap in their systems. I saw you and knew that you would be a good queen for me. When I'm ruling. You will be with me. What do you say?", Rodney said with a hopeful smile.

"Sooooo. You took me away from my friend, tried to bite me without my consent, cuffed me in this cold room and sat me on this hard chair and expect me to want to be your wife? You're a really funny thing. If you can't treat me well as a stranger how can I expect you to treat me well as a spouse? No. I don't agree", Winter said with a deep scowl on her face.

Rodney nodded. Grabbed her by the face and was about to force his lips onto hers when a loud crash was heard from behind him. Standing at what used to be a grey wall, were Summer, Axel and Helix. Summer was bouncing on her heels like an avatar from a video game.

"We heard you were keeping our best friend hostage! Well, today isn't your day cause we are going to beat the living day lights out of you!", Summer announced before trying to run at Rod but being held back by Axel.

"No. We came to talk. What do you want with Winter?", Axel asked.

"Oh nothing much. Just for her to marry me and have my children.", Rod said blandly.

"GAG! Now can we beat him up!!!???", Summer said loudly.

"I agree with Summer.", Helix said before attacking Rod.

All of his punches and swings and kicks were all dodged neatly by Rod who in turn hurt Helix pretty badly. Axel tried as well but Rod was right, the rage virus did improve some things if the person could control it. Summer was small and quick so she managed to hurt Rod a bit however, eventually, Rod let a red wave of energy out and threw the others back.

This sparked something in Winter's mind. Jeapordy. What if she could use Jeapordy against Rod. But. If she hurt any of her friends she would never forgive herself. But she had to try.

"QUICK! AXEL MAKE ME ANGRY! I NEED TO LET A JEAPORDY WAVE OUT! WHEN I FEEL IT I'LL TELL YOU TO RUN!", Winter called out.

Almost immediately, Summer threw an insult and soon the three were insulting Winter. It wasn't working. She didn't feel any anger. Until.

"YOUR MOTHER NEVER LOVED YOU AND THAT'S WHY SHE DIED! TO GET AWAY FROM YOU! BECAUSE YOU WERE A BURDEN! AND IT WAS YOUR FAULT SHE DIED!" Helix shouted.

This drove Winter right out if the rails. She felt it coming. She yelled to her friends to run and just as they were out of the way. She let it go.

Rod got hit but didn't get as affected as anyone else would ve. Of course.

Before Winter could try and let another wave out, she heard Summer scream. Axel ran to the place where Summer was hiding only to find that she.....
