Twenty Seven

Winter's pov

He started to lean closer to me. Like. Leaning in to kiss Me! Wait. Should I move back? Should I lean in too? If we do, will I kiss back? He's getting closer. His eyes are closed. My eyes are closing too. Am I moving closer?

Before I could feel his lips on mine, someone burst into the office. But Helix didn't jump away from me. I almost did but he held me in place. He opened his eyes. Wow I didn't notice how bright they are. He winked at me then said something very ridiculous but believable at the same time.

"And thats how you'll lean in. Then the rest is up to you.",Helix said before stepping back and walking out to reveal a frowning Summer. Uh oh.

"I thought you said you didn't have feelings for him?",she asked.

"I-I d-dont",I replied with stuttering. Stuttering really?

Summer went from looking pissed off to a huge smile on her face. Why am I scared?

"Omg you should've seen your face! I'm kidding! Helix was too cool for me. Sometimes a cute preppy dude is my type. Luckily. I met one. His name is Axel.",Summer said excitedly after her bout of laughter.

"Tell me all the details. Come on. Sit right here.",I said gesturing to the couch right opposite me.

Summer sat down gladly. I noticed she had changed into a maroon shirt and black pants. She looked even better than when she was in the dress.

"Only after you tell me.",Summer said.

"Okay okay. So Helix and I went to lunch the other day. *explains the whole story*",I explained.

"Wow. You both have it baaaad.",Summer laughed.

She told me the story too and just as she finished, I heard a knock on the door. My door is going to collapse one day. When I said come in, a tall, sort of muscular guy with dark brown hair and dark green eyes walked in. He was sort of cute and looked very familiar. Just like Summer and Helix. But I just couldn't put my finger on it.

"Winter. This is Axel. I'm off to a lunch date with him. heehee",Summer said looking like a three year old who just got candy.

She walked out with Axel's arm around her waist and A big smile for each of their faces. I couldn't help but smile myself. First cause they were so cute together and second because their happiness was infectious. If only that was Helix and I.

Speaking of. I needed to find a way to tell Helix how I feel. But what if he doesn't feel the same. Ugh. I'll have to think about this when I get home.

At the Council of Guardian Angels

Azaniah's pov

Ezekiel looked way too happy after we sent the four away. I decided to speak to him in private after we finished attending to complaints.

"Uh Ezekiel. I think we missed one complaint. But we have to go there.",I said.

"Elijah will go with you.",Bathsheba said seriously.

"Uh no. I need Ezekiel to come. No need to be bossy Bathsheba. It's the four masters not the three submasters and Bathsheba. Now Ezekiel. Let's go.",I said with a little laugh as I led Ezekiel out and into the chamber room.

"There's a complaint here?",Ezekiel said suspiciously.

"No. That was just a way to get you in private. You look too happy".

"Is it wrong to be happy?".

"No. It's just. After what we did to the four?", I said feeling like Bathsheba had done something to him.

"I didn't tell you?",he asked looking confused.

"Tell me what?".

"Oh. I must've forgotten. I left a loophole in the spell".

"Oh my gosh! You did? Yes! What is it?".

"Winter and Helix have to confess their love to each other",Ezekiel said looking proud.

I smacked the back of his head. Hard.

"You idiot! Why not a kiss?! Why not Axel and Summer! Summer is more open! Ugh I can't beleive you.",I said while I slapped my forehead.

"Exactly. Summer is very open so the loophole would be too large and Bathsheba would notice. And the kiss too. So yeah.",Ezekiel said while rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh! Ezekiel you are such a genius!",I said before jumping onto him and wrapping my arms around his neck.

He hugged me back and when I let go, I noticed he looked flustered.

"Anyway. We uh. We have to go back before Bathsheba sends the whole council for us.",I said while I laughed a little.

Ezekiel laughed too then led me out and back into the room.

A/N

So there you go! The cat is out of the bag! If only Helix and Winter confess. Then all the memories will come back. And before you ask, I know Winter and Summer live together in the other world but in this one, they don't. Let's hope they remember!

And after a lot and I mean a lot! Of thinking. I made the plot beginning of book 2 and we'll see if I'll be able to continue it.
