The day of the wedding had finally come. Winter was wearing her red dress and Rod in his red suit. She was looking at herself in the mirror when Rod stood behind her and hugged her from behind. She didn't return the hug.

"Everything is going to be fine. No. Scratch that. It's going to be amazing. But right now I need to go to the committee meeting. Last one you know.", Rod said with a smile as he started walking away.

"Wait. I know those aren't comitte meetings. Where have you really been going?", Winter asked with one eyebrow raised.

Rod sighed. Looked up with a smile and said, "Fine. You got me. I was planning a surprise for you. I'm still not telling you until after we get married.".

Winter breathed a sigh of relief. She thought he was going to kill someone or something drastic like that.

She watched as Rod exited the room and heard his footsteps get fainter and fainter. After getting her hair done, it was finally time for her to walk down the aisle. A random rage man walled her down the aisle.

There was a carpet laid inbetween two sides with rows of white chairs tied with satin ribbon. Red and white roses were spread all over the red carpet. There was a stage at the front of all this that was white and decorated with red roses. Rod was standing there in his red suit. Right next to the stage was a large object covered by a giant white sheet. Probably the surprise.

Winter walked down the aisle feeling extra anxious about the decision she had made and wondering what her surprise was. When she reached the stage, a man who was dressed in a large white and red robe came up and said a bunch of stuff that Winter missed until Rod tapped her lightly on her shoulder.

"Hey. Uh he asked if you take me as your husband.", Rod said quietly.

"Oh uh yes of course. I do.", Winter said.

A beam of energy was summoned at the man's will and bound around the two's wrists. It disappeared after a bit though.

"You are now ragefully wedded! Congratulations!", the man said.

Rod smirked and grabbed Winter's arm roughly. Winter looked at him in shock. He had been gentle for a really long time and all of a sudden he was acting barbaric again. He dragged her to the present and pulled the cloth off. It looked like a large elevator that had a claw that could fit a human body.

What in the world?

Rod dragged her up and into the elevator. It would take atleast 10mins to get fully up.

"I bet you're wondering what this is. I know you are. No need to answer. I know about your power. The jeopardy wave. When you die and smack really hard some where when you do. The energy from that wave goes to anyone and anything around it. The higher you drop from, the more energy comes out. Therefore, this building. That claw is going to hold and drop you. Which will give me that power. Marrying you was the only way to make sure that power gets to me. That red bond isn't just for show.", Rod said with an evil smile.

Winter didn't have anything to say. She was stunned at how gullible she had been. How could she get out of this? Maybe she could fly away when they got to the top. Yeah, that's what she would do. She was going to wait until they got to the top and fly away. That should work.
