(Chapter 4)

The day of player picking~

MERIDA's POV

Today's the day the goblet of fire picks the players for the tournament. Damn I really hope it's one of our friends, then again... I don't want them to die either though. "Hey Merida, you okay?" Anna asked waving her hand in front of my face. "H-huh? W-what? Oh, yeah. I'm fine." I replied snapping from my thoughts. "Sheeesh Mer, what were you thinking?" Jack asks. "Nothin for your concern Frostface." I answered him teasingly. We are now in the Great Hall and North stood for the speech.

"We are gathered here today for the election of the players for the tournament. 1 player from each school, if chosen don't make a fool, get through it and win for glory. Now let's see the lucky players." North finish as the Goblet of Fire spit a piece of paper. "Hans Southern Isles representing Durmstrang!!" North boomed as the Durmstrang table burst with applause. "Him?" Anna gagged clearly disgusted, "I guess I know which school is gonna be in last place." Jack said amused.

Minutes later another slip of paper was released from the Goblet. North unraveled it and boomed, "Astrid Hofferson representing Beauxbatons!!" Beauxbatons table burst with applause and cheers. "I heard she's tough." Anna said.

Just then both of us heard a sigh of relieved from across us. "Jack? What are you so relieved about?" I ask raising an eyebrow, Anna does it to. "W-what? N-nothing." He answered as quickly as possible, maybe too quickly and looking away. Then I saw Anna's lips form a creepy matchmaker looking smirk. "I think what you meant to say is 'Oh, I'm glad that a certain platinum blonde didn't get picked bcs I'm scared she'll get hurt.' Am I right?" Anna said mimicking what she thought Jack meant to say. My lips too form that creepy smirk, "So that's what it is." I said teasingly. "Shut up you too." Jack snapped looking redder than a beet root burying his face in his palms causing me and Anna to laughed.

ELSA's POV

I'm sitting at the Beauxbatons table when Astrid was chosen as Beauxbatons' player. "They better watch out now since your in the game." I said proudly nudging her. "Yeah, they better." Astrid said laughing. I couldn't help but glance at the Gryffindor table, it looks like Anna and Merida were teasing Jack making him go redder than Merida's hair and burying his face in the palm of his hands and resting on the table. I lightly giggled.

He's so adorable, I thought.

"Whose so adorable?" Astrid said nudging me and wiggling her eyebrows, that's when I realised I said my thoughts out loud. "U-uh n-no one." I answered quickly but soon regret answering too fast. "Yeah right, like I would believe that. You were definitely staring at Jack." Astrid tease. "Can we just..... forget I said that?" I asked pinching my nose. "Yeah sure, if you tell him how you feel." "There's no way. Plus, I bet he doesn't like me back." I said.

Just then the Goblet released the third and last slit of paper. "Lastly, representing Hogwarts, Jack Frost!!!" North boomed and all four Hogwarts tables burst into thunderous applause. "What?!" I whisper yelled. "What's wrong? Scared your Frostbite will get himself injured during the tournament?" Astrid teases. "Can you please just shut up?" I said glaring at her which sent her zipping her mouth and raising her hands in surrender. "Let's just hope his really doesn't get hurt in the process." I said to her. "You can ask him to go to the Yule ball you know?" Astrid suggests, "You crazy?! I'm not gonna turn the boys ask girls thing upside down." I told her and she just shrugged, "Worth the try you know." She said.

JACK's POV

"Lastly, representing Hogwarts, Jack Frost!!!" North boomed. I froze, mentally and physically. "Woohooo. Way the go Jack!!!" Anna shouted through the applause noise and resume to clapping. "Your gonna kill it Frostface!!!" Merida yelled. "Yeah, thanks. I'm gonna crush them Durmstrang and Beauxbatons." I said proudly.
