Yuzuru Hanyu is freaking adorable and I(Javier Fernández) am in love with him.

Track 20: Surprise

And just then the door smashed open.

"Surprise!" A warm cheerful voice said.

Shoma and Yuzuru looked towards the door in surprise.

The flowers Javier held in his hand dropped to the floor. Javier stared at Yuzuru on top of the guy he didn't know. Then he stalked to the bed, furiously and yanked Yuzuru off. 

"Javi? What are you doing here?" Yuzuru looked at Javier in shock.

"Shut up!" Javier pulled Yuzuru into the hallway. 

Shoma watched them walk away, thoroughly confused.

Javier dragged Yuzuru down the stairs, into the lobby. He looked around for a place where they could talk in private. Then he spotted the door to the big closet where they hung visitor's coats. He walked in and locked the door behind him and Yuzuru. 

Javier looked at the other side of the room. What was that..? Had he just caught Yuzuru cheating on him?

Yuzuru looked at Javier in disbelief. He was finally here in front of him, after such a long time. Part of him felt happy and wanted to hug him and kiss him again.. but the other part.. The other part was worried and confused. Confused because Yuzuru didn't understand why Javier seemed so angry. And worried.. because he thought Javier had someone else. Had been with someone else. Yuzuru didn't know what to say. 

Javier turned around and faced Yuzuru. His eyes gleamed in anger. Wet with sadness. The way he looked at Yuzuru made him shiver. It was.. disappointed and hurt. Yuzuru didn't understand why.. 

"Javi.." Yuzuru's hand brushed Javier's face tenderly. "What's wro-"

Javier's lips crashed onto Yuzuru's. They shared passionate kiss. Before Yuzuru could do anything, say anything, Javier was already stripping Yuzuru's clothes off and his own. 

Yuzuru didn't want this. He wanted to talk. He wanted to know what had happened. Why Javier had been so curt all this time. Who that girl was. Why he was suddenly here.. But he had no chance to ask. 

Javier's hands raced over Yuzuru's body with a passion, hunger and desperation Yuzuru hadn't felt before. Normally Javier's touch was confident, secure. But now he felt a fear streaming out of Javier's hands into his body. It was like he was trying to prove something..

Javier and Yuzuru were still in the closet after they'd gotten dressed. They stood on opposite ends of the room and eyed each other. Yuzuru looked away every now and then. It was completely quiet in the room. Neither of them seemed to know what to say. There was a sadness that surprised both of them. Usually after they made love they were ecstatic.. it was different now. 

"H-how come you're here?" Yuzuru asked quietly.

Javier looked up. 

"I wanted to surprise you. My next competition isn't for another week so I thought I'd stop by.. I wanted to see you again." But you obviously didn't want to see me. Javier thought darkly. 

Yuzuru nodded. 

"That's nice." 

Nice? Really? 

"Javi we need to talk-"

"Let's go out." Javier opened to door and grabbed Yuzuru's hand. 

"But-" 

"Come on, I came all this way to see you. Let's have a good time." Javier faked cheerfulness in his voice. 

Yuzuru looked down at the ground and followed Javier. 

They sat down at a restaurant and ordered. Javier started chatting about how his competitions went and how happy he was to be with Yuzuru again. He put on a great act but Yuzuru knew him. Something was wrong. 

Javier had cheated on him, hadn't he? That was why he was acting so strange. Why he avoided talking about important things. That was the only logical explanation. 

Yuzuru nodded at everything Javier said. He threw in the occasional 'uh huh' but he wasn't listening. He couldn't believe it. Sure, their relationship had never been confirmed but he thought they were more than this. He thought at least Javier cared. But it seemed all he wanted was sex. That's it. That was all Yuzuru meant to him. Yuzuru felt his eyes water. He blinked the tears away and tried to eat his food. 

Javier noticed Yuzuru's sadness but he didn't wanna talk about it. He didn't wanna ask about that guy he'd found Yuzuru with. He didn't wanna hear that Yuzuru had moved on. He preferred to pretend like nothing was wrong. At least for as long as time allowed him to. 

Yuzuru abruptly got up. His eyes were bloodshot and his nose was red. 

"I can't do this." Yuzuru said. Then he turned around and walked away. 

Javier watched Yuzuru walk into the distance.

This was it, wasn't it? They were done. Without ever even having been anything.. 

Javier felt like he just got punched in the stomach. He bit his lip to keep the tears from falling.
