Apparently my dad had signed up to give a military expedition in our school to educate the hipsters of today about the military, his words not mine.

"Hey dad why didn't you tell me you were coming to my school today? "

He said as he put his arm over my shoulder looking up as if I was supposed to see a memory or something he always wanted one of us to end up following his footsteps following his legacies I guess am fit for it being the nerd I am but am not an uptight nerd that's obsessed with home work am stylish 💁.

I smile and say " Alright if you say so can I help with the ammunitions " I say while trying to pick up a granade a man with a husky voice stops me his eyes looking bloodshot I get scared and held on to my dad . " We got it baby girl you should just get back to class the expedition is after lunch after all " My dad apologies to the teacher about the loud noise they caused they were probably messing with Amunnitions or something. The teacher calls a group of boys to help them pack their stuff to the expedition hall . I catch a glimpse of Justin before going into my class . Well Justin foley is Hayden's close friend they usually hang out together and truth be told Justin was hot but we never really spoke I guess we never had the chance to .

Few hours later the first three periods are down everyone is getting ready to head to the exhibition Hall.

"Hey Alex if I get a grenade I can wipe that off my bucket list '

said Hayden

I asked with a frentic look. He rolls his eyes and says " It was part of the things you added for me " I slightly turn red in embarrassment " Oh my bad " I slightly smirk. " Hey Hayden if I reach the exhibition Hall first you'll have to ask out amber cruise deal ? " I looked up at Justin with a really confused look before I knew it he put his arm around me and looked up saying " Oh you don't know your boy Hayden has a crush on amber " All of a sudden i feel my mood change " You like amber and you didn't tell me why!? "

" I didn't know how you would react am sorry Alex " Just forget it I say releasing myself from justin. See what you did! Hayden said to Justin. To my surprise Justin follows me. " Hey Alexa " He says putting his hands in his hair and looking at me with that smile of his that can melt a heart. " Hey Justin, are you lost? " " No I just came to check up on you, you seemed pretty upset " I slightly smile " No it's fine Hayden can date whoever he wants to am okay with it "

He gives me a heart warming smile " Alright but don't think too much about it am here if you need anything " Before I could reply Spencer was shouting from the other part of the hall " Foley, Foley!! Check this out " He waves at me and leaves am still standing at awe thinking of how I just spoke to Justin. I make my way to the expedition Hall before entering I get a text from Hayden which read

" Hey Alex am sorry about earlier your my best friend I should've told you I was just so scared about how you would react your my angel and am your hero remember 💁 .... I scoff a bit before continuing to read... I hope we're good angel I kinda need your help at the expedition Hall am backstage I think am gonna blow up "

I was a bit tensed so I go to look for kailey so we can go together I check everywhere and I can't find her I later decided to go alone and see what this idiot himself in.

At that moment I was running through the halls thinking of where to dispose the grenades luckily it was a Pulse grenade so it was on a timer .
