chapter 25- The holidays are Near

I woke up feeling extremely tired having no memory about what happened I decide to take a hot bath and calm my muscles . In the shower flashes of the previous night keep playing in my head and I finally remember everything.As if on cue my mom enters my room.I groan in tiredness I forgot it's my year,You see it's a tradition that each kid has to help mom Christmas shop and this year it's me sadly.

Alexa " Mom why !!"

Mom " Get ready we'll have to get their early "

I waste no time on getting prepared my mom hates lateness on my way down I see my dad and Aaron arguing about the Christmas tree a part of me wants to ask what he did with kailey last night but I keep shut and leave.

We pull up at the mall and it's crowded as usual . My mom drags me out of the door and hands me a list this is going to be a long day.

A few hours later.

Mom " okay do we have the new Christmas decorations "

Alexa " Check "

Mom " the tree ornaments "

Mom " Christmas stockings "

Mom " ingredients for the Christmas dinner "

Mom " Great now wait Here and I'll go get your gifts "

She always likes to shop for presents alone . well am tired so I take a sit on the mall bench I look around and see Justin and his father shopping If I didn't know about his dad I wouldn't know it was him. He was a blond muscular man with a perfect chiseled jaw. You would never guess he's the former minister of state. I look away but it's too late they already saw me and their walking towards me.

Alexa " Hey mister Foley Merry Christmas "

Alex " Nonsense call me Alexander or Alex "

Justin " Merry Christmas Alexa this is my dad Alexander Foley "

Alex " you must be Alexa we're twinsies my son has told me a lot about you "

I laugh a little being called the minister of states twin.

Alexa " I've heard a lot about you sir the pleasure is mine "

Alex " why so formal but anyway it's a pleasure to meet you Alexa "

I wave them off but I see Justin looking sad but his father is so nice I wonder what's wrong with him. I hear my mom's voice from afar before she finally walks up to me . we check the list and make sure we have everything we need before heading home.

I walk in and see the boys setting the tree it's big and beautiful. I make my way to the my room and send the twins to help mom stack the groceries. I fall flat on my bed almost falling asleep before someone knocks on my door. why ?!! I yell " come in " and Aaron walks in.

Alexa " Well,well,goose look who we have here "

Aaron " Yeah it's me Justin is waiting for you "

Alexa " I'd hate to leave Justin waiting "

Aaron " What's wrong with you "

Alexa " I saw you and kailey go in Justin's guest room yesterday "

Aaron " then ask kailey am not a snitch "

Alexa " oh please " ( rolls her eyes)

Aaron " well am not snitching my girlfriend "

I roll my eyes once more and leave downstairs to see Justin .

Alexa " Hey Justin "

Justin " Hey you forgot your socks when you were at my house "

Alexa " oh thanks can I have them "

Alexa " you came all the way here without it "

Justin " well let's go get it "

He takes my hand and leads me to his expensive Audi damn he loaded.

We arrive at his house and I expect to see his father but I see Hayden and Spencer instead.

Alexa " merry Christmas babe "

I say and pull him in for a kiss .

Hayden " thank you love I saw the watch you got me I love it !!"

Alexa " The pleasure Is all mine "

I pull Justin in a corridor to talk to him.

Alexa " Hey where's your dad "

Alexa " I mean why is Hayden and Spencer decorating your tree "

Justin " He had to go "

Alexa " And ?"

Justin " and do his politics shit forgetting his only kid a few days to Christmas "

I look at him very well and he's teary I can't believe he wants to cry .

I quickly give him a hug I've never seen him like that " Am here I promise " I say gently putting my hands in his hair I can feel him breath on my neck and I feel awful for him maybe I can ask him to have Christmas dinner with my family. I let go and gently kiss his cheek and I watch him give me that hearty smile that can melt my heart. we head back to the parlour and catch the guys fooling around with another guy oh it's the football team captain " Zach "
I helped them to decorate the tree and called my mom and asked if it was okay for Justin to come for dinner on Christmas eve and she agreed surprisingly am sure my dad will flip.

Alexa " Am heading out boys "

Hayden " Bye baby "

( Justin Spencer and Zach ) " Bye Baby "

Alexa " y'all are crazy nice to meet you Zach "

I leave and head home and I was feeling very exhausted but my mom wouldn't let me rest . After helping her In the kitchen we finally have family dinner and now we can talk about Aaron.

mom " How was college baby "

Aaron " it was great and interesting it was amazing "

Dad " and what's your GPA "

Aaron " 3.5 sir "

Dad " what course "

I wait for the worst but instead he pats Aaron on the back.

Dad " Am proud of you whether your in the navy or the courtroom "

We laugh it off and continue dinner the Watson household was perfect.
