chapter 37 - I'm done

I woke up feeling A bit better I'm gonna review my whole life today because I feel things aren't going as well as they should and definitely not adding up.

I dress in a casual shirt,trouser and jacket. I walk into school feeling Better than yesterday I want to set everything back into place no drama no problems.  I started from the beginning of it all.

I've settled everything with Casey and hopefully no more problems I hope but I need to talk to Spencer so I immediately walk to the field and spot him in the bleachers.

I walk to him and find a spot by his left side I smile at him a bit before resuming into a frown.

Spencer " Hey morning "

Alexa " Casey is your cousin so if you didn't help her I  assume it's amber "

Spencer " Yeah it is...just don't do anything reck...."

I don't wait for him to finish his sentence I stand up and head to the hallway I knew she'd be hanging somewhere around their I spot her talking to Hayden but I don't really care at the moment .

Alexa " Amber a word please "

Amber " Oh sorry me and Hayden were just..."

Alexa " it's not about him "

Hayden " Glad to be noticed "

Alexa " morning babe I'll see you later "

He walks away without even looking at me I'll fix that later.

Amber " Good morning Alexa "

Alexa " Hey amber Casey is your cousin too right "

Amber " Yes why ? "

Alexa " Why'd you help her spread rumours about me  "

She moves back a bit and raises an eye Brow before replying

Amber " Whatever gave you that idea "

Alexa " Drop the act "

She moves back again and smiles.

Amber " Don't you have things to do "

Alexa " Don't test me "

Amber " I helped her for a lot of reasons don't make me do it again stay away from him "

She says and bangs her locker before walking away I'm like what the hell just happened.
I don't give in too much to it I only smile and head to class.

The remaining time flys by I sit with  Justin and kailey at lunch because Hayden still hasn't spoken to me after Amber happened so I decided to talk to him myself. I walk up to him confidently with power in my poise he was sitting with Spencer,Zach and Nicole.

I sit at the nearest free spot which is near Zach I smile at him and the rest of them before facing my annoying boyfriend.

He's oddly wearing a red face cap backwards he's smiling with his perfect dimples showing I almost melt at the sight but I keep myself calm.

Alexa " Hey I missed you at the hallway today "

Hayden " I figured you had pressing matters with amber so I didn't want to interrupt "

Alexa " even after I was done "

Hayden " Yes even after "

None of them interrupt which I really appreciate I notice his tone but I can't read it well.

Alexa " Get up "

He slightly raises his eyebrow. I smile and ask again.

Alexa " Get up now "

He reads me immediately he knows me too well he stands up and I follow him to a secluded place in the cafeteria.

Alexa " What's with all the altitude "

Hayden " It's nothing okay "

Alexa " This isn't helping okay "

Hayden " I wasn't trying to "

Alexa " what is wrong with you "

Hayden " Ask your new boyfriend Justin "

Alexa " What the hell are you talking about "

Hayden " I try to get you to budge but you don't say a word but Justin shows up and you go off like a vomit comet "

Alexa " oh my God take that back you even came with him "

Hayden " You asked him to come not me so I'll keep it that way "

He says and before I can even reply he walks off but stays long enough for me to hear him mutter under his voice " I'm done " . I couldn't move I stood still not wanting to move I try so hard not to cry but I couldn't hold it I feel a tear fall and the rest just goes downhill from then I walk out of the cafeteria and run to the girls bathroom finding Casey fixing her make up . " Alexa " she says with sympathy in her voice I give in and she consoles by hugging me and drawing circles on my back I pant in and out we don't talk throughout and I appreciate it.

I clean up and apply light make up so it's not so obvious I cried.
I walk into class not minding anyone even though it's hard to get away from him he seats right behind me but luckily he moves to a seat near Spencer and I'm relieved and hurt at the same time.

School was over and I couldn't wait to go home I really need some me time right now so I don't wait for anyone I immediately go home. 

I turn the faucet and start up a bubble bath I think I just need self care right now . I also wash my hair and braid it into two.

I go downstairs and get a tub of ice cream chocolate in particular.
I dial my brother's number mainly because I haven't heard from him in a while.

Aaron " Alex !! Look what we have here "

Alexa " Hey bro missed you "

Aaron " Missed you too how have you been ? "

Alexa " I've been great how's school "

Aaron " Just party and well books "

Alexa " Hope your not getting reckless on those parties "

Aaron " no sis kailey is the one for me "

Alexa " ohhh he's loyal "

Aaron " hahaha (sarcastically ) how's your homeboy "

Alexa " oh em we're okay "

I say in a high pitched voice

Aaron " your obviously lying because I know when your lying"

Alexa " We just had a little argument nothing much "

Aaron " I hope so or I''ll book a flight to California right now "

Alexa " Thanks bro "

Aaron " No problem I'll call you later love you "

Alexa " love you too bro "

I end the call and finish my tub of ice cream before slowly failing asleep.
