chapter 6- Back to school

( 6 days later)

It was the last night of my suspension and my grounding, Yap you heard me I guess my parents forgot they grounded me before because of getting into the bar fight but am glad they did . Just then my mom walks in,

Mom " Alright baby girl am giving you your phone back, I hope you know what your doing and please no more trouble " She said looking at me with a worried and loving face

Alexa " That's okay I won't I promise mom " I said giving her an assuring look

Dad " You having a party for your birthday? "

Alexa " Will you let me? "

I asked chuckling

Alexa " Me and my friends are going out for the night I'll be back by 10 sharp! "

Dad " That's my girl "

Mom " But when your back we'll celebrate you here too alright? "

Alexa " Alright, we're family I know good night mom, good night dad "

Finally!! My phone I missed it so much

Hayden : 27 missed calls, 18 voice messages

Justin : 15 missed calls , 7  voice messages I was quite surprised.
Just then I hear a knock on my window oh my god it's Hayden.

Hayden " Hey Alex, I just came to check on you "

Alex " Are you crazy or something "

Hayden " Am really sorry about what I did and am even more sorry that I let you take the blame when I saw you in the fog of that grenade I thought I hurt you again I can't bear hurting you Alex "

Alexa " You didn't hurt me... (Cuts in )

Hayden " I've been hurting you with my bucket list I can't do that anymore I can't loose you, so am not gonna enlist you in my bucket list anymore I'll do it myself, am sorry I didn't reach out to you in school I was paralyzed with shame I couldn't face you after hurting you am really sorry Alex.

Alexa " Oh Hayden " I say sounding a bit teary I quickly give him a tight hug hiding my face in his neck.

Alexa " It's okay I forgive you but never ever put me in that kind of situation or else you'll be signing your death certificate but there's no way am dropping out of your bucket list am sure there's something simple I can help you with "

Hayden " Thank you, I think there's one completely safe, easy and not life threatening "

Alexa " Perfect you can show me at school tomorrow if my parents see you in my room I think my life would be ruined "

Hayden " Oh my bad, I just had to get to you " He said shyly playing with his hair

Alexa " How'd you get a ladder anyway "

Hayden " Spencer hooked us up and Justin is holding it up for me "

Justin yells from downstairs " Hey Alexa we missed you!! "

Alexa " Missed you too, alright you guys have to go now bye, see you at school and stuff " I said gently pushing him to the window only for him to pull me closer

I nervously laughed and said " Amber gonna be mad at you if she sees this " Then I slowly pull myself from his grip he smiles at me and leaves I look outside and see him and Justin running with the ladder those guys are something else. I get ready for bed and snooze off .
