I squint my eyes just to make sure am seeing right and I was . It was Aaron of course he knew where I was and he sure as shit was on his way.

Justin informed me that my brother was here and asked if he should come in and I was too lazy to leave the room anyway.

Alexa " Here to mess me up to "

Aaron " come home please "

Alexa " no his house his rules "

Aaron " He loves you "

Alexa " unless he's willing to compromise besides he didn't even come with you "

Aaron " you know how he is besides you can't stay here forever "

Justin " I don't mind the house is usually quiet "

Aaron gives him the side eye but I still stand my ground.

Alexa " am sorry I need my time "
Aaron " he's a military officer if you don't come home he'll come get you "

Alexa " maybe that's what I want "

I close my eyes and turn away before I feel a pillow hit me I would've hit back but am not in the mood so I remain still and continue my slumber then I feel my brother kiss my forehead and leaves and that's when I doze off completely.

I woke up early still feeling sad I remembered every Christmas morning we'd sit by the fire place and open our presents in matching PJ's it's a bit embarrassing instead am awoken by the aroma of Apple smoked bacon and roasted lamb.
I move downstairs and meet Justin at the fireplace opening gifts from his dad and mom.
he sees me and gives me a pout.
" same watch , same Hermes shoes " . He drops it on the ground and walks to me handing me three boxes one from him another from Zach and lastly from Aaron.

I don't even feel like unwrapping them but it's rude not to I start with Justin's and it's an Airpod with my initials by the side that's nice then zach's with a little note on top " Sorry I ruined Christmas I hope this'll do "

I open it and it's a velvet red bow it's not really me but he just met me I don't blame him I don't even want to open Aaron's own but I just do anyway. It also had a letter on it " Dad wanted to give it to you but you ran off so merry Christmas little sis "

I slightly squirm my eyes but gently open it I didn't even know it but I was crying it was his first military badge he wanted to give it to me on my graduation but I guess he couldn't wait I shove it in my pocket and head to the dinning room.

The foyer was grand and so was the breakfast it was roasted lamb with apple smoked salad and bacon grits that's where the smell came from I had to use my hands to eat the lamb at some point .

Alexa " Thank you for the service "

I said to the chief before heading upstairs to take a shower all without speaking to Justin.
I head to the guest room and even the bathroom was luxurious I finish up and grab a soft towel and begin to dry myself before he speaks up.

Justin " You should've used a robe"

I ignore him and continue drying myself.

Justin " and if you keep being an unfriendly guest I'll have to teach you some manners "

Alexa "I'd like to see you try "

I head to the dresser and sit down and start to dry my hair.
I finish up and remember I have nothing to wear he had to get me clothes from his closet even yesterday .

I walk across the Hall and head to his room I find him on his bed using his phone already dressed and done up .

Alexa " I need something to wear"

Justin " you look fine in that " 

Alexa " Be serious am getting cold there's AC everywhere "

Justin " Then you should've worn a robe "

Alexa " don't be stubborn Justin "
Instead he keeps tapping on his phone I guess this is my fault for shunning him earlier I try to go across the room but I trip I almost fall but he catches me.

Justin " No need to strip down for me I'll be back "

He comes back with a grey and green hoodie and a black jean.

Alexa " Thank you "

Justin " my pleasure Just go get dressed " 

I get back to my room and get dressed but I also feel bad for being so cold to him he did bring me to his house . So I head to his room but I text on my phone the way there.

I await his reply but nothing so I check the group again.

I resume my walk but he snatches my phone from my hand I chase him downstairs and I saw the wine cellars I wanted to take a bottle and break it on his head.

I chase him back upstairs and all the way to his room before we both fall on the bed exhausted I need to go back home we only look at each other and smile.

Alexa " I never knew you were playful "

Justin " I never knew you were cold "

Alexa " Am sorry "

Justin " it's fine "

we smile at each other and burst  into laughter . Before I hear a familiar voice but its not one it's two people.

" You two look cozy "
