Zoey watched as Clay and Jessica talked to Bolan and foundry

Zoey continued the chant with the group

Soon police in with shields, and a bunch of cover ups were standing in front of the school

All the kids stood silent looking at the guarded officers

"This is fucked" Zoey said while looking at Tyler "don't you think Clay and Jessica knows what to do?" Tyler asked "Yea, let's see..." Zoey said nervously

"This is the evergreen county sheriff's department. You have two minutes to vacate the premises or you will be forcibly removed. Two minutes!" He said

"This is not good" Zoey said

"Tony, Tony? Where are you going?" Tyler asked and Zoey turned around following Tyler "ty, I can't. I'm sorry, not with this many police officers here. You know I have a record" Tony said while walking away "no, I know!" Tyler yelled "no, it's fine, he needs to stay safe, so let's go" Zoey said while pulling Tyler back into the group of teens

"Times up" the sheriff said

Zoey and Tyler stood in front now

The officers started hitting their shields while walking up to the students

"Stand your ground!" Jessica yelled

Zoey took off her backpack and quickly unzipped it

"Now!" Jessica yelled and everyone threw their books, paper, anything they had in their backpack at the guards

Tyler soon threw his book making Zoey cheer "let's go, ty!" She said and Tyler smiled while joining her and threw their things

Cyrus and his crew all put their arms over Tyler's and Zoeys shoulders as they cheered and laughed "you're not so bad, Zoey Carson" Cyrus yelled over the screaming from kids "thanks, you're not too bad, yourself" she said and laughed

They all continued to throw random objects at them

Soon the guards took Estella by the waist picking her up, taking her "help!" She yelled

Zoey watched as her friends walked over to the guards and started fighting against them

She took a deep breath and ran up to the guards and started hitting on their shields

They took Cyrus down making Zoey run up to the guard trying to stop them

She then tried kicking the guards shield but her grabbed her by her foot making her fall onto the ground

Zoey groaned in pain as her head hit the ground harshly

She eyes closed as the cops put hand cuffs in the girl

"Zoey!" Tyler yelled, Zoeys other friends were too busy to the girl get took away

As Zoey sat in the back of the cop car her eyes started to get heavy, and they soon closed.

There Zoey sat, in the interrogation room, she always found herself in this room

"All right, Zoey..." Diaz said and sat down and she sighed "talk" he said and handed her the water

She looked down at her wrist to she faded red lines on her skin

"I was protecting my friends" she said "and what about you?" Diaz asked "I'm fine.." she said "no, you're in a interrogation room, nearly about to get arrested" Diaz said "look, Diego was targeted today at school for being Dominican, the officer made it clear that he was out for him...he called him Mexican, and you definitely know why I fought, I happen to be African American...that's a reason to stand, sir" Zoey said and he nodded "I know, Zoey" Diaz said and sighed "look, I talked to Merida, she answered your grandpa's phone, she's coming to get you" he said and Zoey nodded

"This isn't a strike, I won't count it as anything, I know it's not right for me to do that...but you did it for a good reason" he whispered and she smiled and nodded "thank you, sir, I promise you won't ever see me back in here" she said and Diaz nodded

Merida covered her mouth as she seen Zoey, her wrist were red, her eyes were puffy, and her eyes were barely opened

"Zoey Amiyah Carson" Merida said as she walked up to her "Merida" she said running up to the woman and hugging her Merida hugged her tightly "let's get out of here, please" Zoey said and she nodded quickly "thank you, Diaz" Merida said and he nodded

Merida walked with the girl to the car

Once they entered Merida looked at the girl

"I can explain-" Merida cut the girl off "I know what happened...I'm the one who talked Diaz out of giving you a strike.." she said "what? How?" Zoey asked "we went to the same school" she said and sighed "does my grandpa know?" She asked "no, he's asleep, so we need to get back to the house, now" she said and Zoey nodded and rested her head on the window

"I'm sorry..." Zoey said as Merida stopped at the light "Zoey, it's fine.." she said and Zoey sighed "your school is closed for a week" Merida spoke and Zoey "really?" Zoey asked shocked "Yea, they called early" she said and Zoey smiled lightly and nodded "I need an ice pack, my head is pounding" Zoey said "what happened?" Merida asked and started driving

"I was about to assault a cop, but he technically assaulted me by grabbing my foot and making me hit my head in the ground" she said "I'll check you out at the house" she said and Zoey nodded "that's why it's easy to have a nurse at home" Zoey joked making Merida laugh

Merida placed the ice pack in Zoeys hand "thanks" Zoey said and Merida smiled while grabbing the girls phone and laptop "hey! What?" Zoey said "you're also grounded" Merida said while pointing to the girl "I'm no parent, but I know that I'm supposed to do this because you nearly went to jail" Merida said and walked out of the room "where are you taking my things?" Zoey asked making the woman stop in her track "that's for me to know" she said "well what am I supposed to do without a phone or computer?" Zoey asked "customize clothes, sing, draw, paint-whichever one" she said and walked out and Zoey sighed while leaning on her headboard with her ice pack on her head
