CASPAR'S POV

So it turns out that this Youtube challenge doesn't sound that bad at all, but most importantly, Joe is excited for it. I can't imagine what he's going through right now, and he actually seems to want to do this.

So, it lasts a week - seven days - and all we really have to do is try and survive on our own in the wild. It's pretty much like I'm a Celebrity but for us Youtubers, and I already know it's gonna be a blast.

I don't know where abouts it actually is - they told me it was some place in Wales, but I don't know how to pronounce it, nevermind spell it - but I know that we're going there.

It's been a week since I got the text, offering for us to go, and I don't know how I feel about it. I mean, sure, I'm excited, but I'm also dreading it. Every single thing that we do is gonna be filmed and posted on a different person's channel each day, as there's going to be seven of us going there.

I kinda wished Louie was going, but we are not aloud to know who else is going to be a part of it, I only know that me and Joe are - that's it.

For the week that we've been waiting to go, Joe has been searching for survival techniques online, like we actually need it. Basically, we're given a certain amount of food to live on per day, and each day we have to go out as a group and learn something new about the wild, like climbing trees or shooting targets.

I'm just worried about setting up the tents, though, as I have no idea how to do that.

"Just chill out," Joe walked past me on the sofa, seeng how het up I was. He seemed to be back to his normal self these days - maybe even better. He was still a little sick, but he was improving a lot, "It's gonna be fine. I can't do any of that survival stuff, either. I'm more bothered about which Youtubers are going."

I smiled at him - he was right. I just had to chill out. Jesus, I didn't know that a few simple words from Joe were able to calm me down so much.

I leant back and watched the television, enjoying this time while I still could. It's all I could do, as we were leaving tomorrow so I couldn't back out. Not now.

Even if we wanted to, it would be incredibly selfish, as the staff organizing the event wouldn't be able to find any one else at such short notice, meaning that I literally had to accept that I was going to be thrown into some woods with a bunch of strangers so I could learn how to survive.

Joe was cooking something in the kitchen, and apron tied loosely around him. The day I found out about his scars, I had to keep a close eye on him when he was cooking, making sure that all six knives where in the stand, where they should be, and if not, the I had to make sure he was using it for the food. Now, however, I am able to trust him in the kitchen without freaking out about the god damned spork being in his hands.

I'm still glad that I confronted him about it, though. It's the first time that I actually told him about my feelings, and he's beginning to come out of his shell a little more now, and treat me as if I'm his own family member. I like the relationship that we have together now.

Sure, I'd still jump at the chance to be his boyfriend, but I would still worry that if we broke up then we'd never speak to eachother again. He over reacts sometimes, so being in an actual relationship with him would be pretty hard, but I'd do anything in my power to keep him with me.

I mean, I broke up with Gaby a few months back, and we still talk to eachother quite a lot, desite the breakup being so dramatic, what with her throwing all sorts of mugs and vases at me, but we finally got there, and now we are mutual friends.

"Hey, Caspar," Joe looked over at me from whatever he was doing in the kitchen, "I just want you to know, that this little challenge is probably gonna fuck us up, royally. You might come out and want your own survival show on TV."
