Living with your father is an adjustment, but you are able to manage.
You get to learn and grow with the monsters, who in turn teach you more about their role in keeping small parts of natural balance. You realize that you mother has never been doing the right thing, looking to kill them and all. But you also come to terms that protecting and killing can never be one person's role. Nothing is perfect, but being able to protect the monsters makes something similar to perfect.
The monsters under the bed become your closest allies in life, and the strongest part of you. It just goes to show that violence may put an end to things, but it will never save a life
