The next day at school, Ari was drained. He fell asleep in class four times. Kyomi woke him up each time, reminding him to get a good night sleep from now on. He wouldn't.
Because that night he was going to once again don the "suit" and take to the streets. And he did so. After about an hour of aimlessly wandering about and jumping across rooftops Ari had come to probably the worst neighborhood he could think of.
Numerous criminals had lived here in the past so he figured it was perfect for investigation.Ari hopped off the roof and landed on the sidewalk. Again, he got stares from people. Then could probably tell he wasn't a pro hero. Good thing he got that ski mask, because he could easily be arrested. Plus if he hopes to get into U.A, or any hero school for that matter, he can't have anyone knowing he's a vigilante.
There was a parking lot near here where a lot of gangsters like to hang out. There's a mechanic down there but they went out of business so the place is deserted. That's where he'd strike.
Instead of that happening though, something struck him. A red blur slammed into him, knocking him over. Pain shot up his back. His head was spinning, and it hurt like hell. He slowly sat up and took his ski mask off to stop the dazed out of breath feeling. Crouching in front of him was none other than his classmate, Shiro. "Watch we're you're going asshole!" Shiro suddenly realized who was in front of him. "Holy shit." He said. "Bug boy, you're a vigilante?!" Ari realized what was happening and quickly put his mask back on. "Psh I'm not a vigilante, I just uh...I'm going to a costume party." Shiro wasn't phased by the blatant lie.
"Dude I saw you on top of a car. You made two cars crash, it was awesome!" Ari stood up quickly. "Listen you cant tel anyone about that, or this, or anything. Just forget about all of this. If you say a word to anyone so help me god I will shove my foot up your-" Shiro cut him off.
"We got to go, let's talk about this somewhere else." Shiro grabbed Ari's shoulders. "Let's run." Ari gave him a quizzical look. "What the fuck does that mean?" Behind them three guys Ari vaguely recognized were chasing after them, one of which was a blonde kid with fire coming off of his hair and hands.
"Yep let's run." Ari said, and Shiro smiled. Within a flash they were gone, halfway across town. Specifically they were next to two houses, hiding behind a fence.
"Ok, so are you gonna tell me what the hell is going on?" Ari asked. "Yeah as soon as you tell me why you're making marvel movies on the highway." Shiro retorted. "By the way, vigilantism is illegal. So maybe get like a black hoodie or something because you're super noticeable. Also while we're on that topic what the hell are you wearing? Are those leather pants? What kind of crappy vigilante are you. And a ski Mask?? Amateur hour."
Ari shook his head in disappointment. "You done?" Shiro narrowed his eyes. "Nope. You're not even wearing like a Kevlar body suit dude you're gonna get shot or something. Who the hell taught you about costume design because they should be shot immediately."
Ari rolled his eyes. "Ok, my turn. Why are you speeding down the sidewalk? Which is also illegal by the way." Shiro got quiet real quick. "Well uh..." his voice trailed off and he got really interested at a rock by his feet. The sound of multiple footsteps interrupted the conversations.
"I think he got away!" Someone said. "Shut up and keep running we got to find that asshole! Ari looked at the fence, then at Shiro. "They're talking about you aren't they?" Shiro sighed.
"I may or may not have stole something from them." He slowly took a weird looking watch out of the pocket in his black leathers jacket. "You stole a watch?" Shiro shook his head. "This thing is more than a watch." He put it on and pressed a small button. The watch's surface glowed orange and suddenly it started to spread across Shrio's arm like a metal liquid, covering his arm in a silver sleeve.
"Oh...so it's a weird watch." Shiro glared at Ari. "No dipshit it's a state of the art support item that I stole." Shiro said semi defensively. "Yeah can you go back to that stealing part?" Shiro tapped the same part of the watch which was now engraved within the metal covering his hand and suddenly the watch returned to normal.
"Nope, gotta run. We'll talk about this later. Oh, and don't get arrested." With that the speedster took off, leaving Ari confused and alone in someone's yard.
