Chapter 8: Roadkill

     Ari and Red death stood on top of building, watching their target. There was a warehouse, and in it was a car that had valuable items in it. The problem is that there's also like like 20 dudes with guns guarding it.
      The solution? A gun. Red death has a sniper rifle, which he showed to Ari. The plan was simple. Red death would snipe while Ari snuck in, got in the vehicle of value, and then drove off. Easy peasy.
     But in typical Ari fashion, a critical misunderstanding would lead to his downfall. When Red Death said "Sneak in", he meant "SNEAK IN". Not whatever the hell ari was doing.
    Ari took a huge breath, then super jumped off the roof soared through the air. His new partner watched in amazement as he crashed through the glass on the roof of the warehouse and disappear from view.
     Red Death had noticed that Ari's legs looked a little...different earlier. What he didn't realize is that he was literally a human grasshopper.
     Ari crashed and landed with a thud on what he thought was a box, but turned out to be a human. Next thing he knew, three in ski masks and tactical gear were pointing guns at him.
    He made swift work of them, kicking one in the chest and launching him into his comrade, then throwing low grade acid that stuck the third guy to the floor.
     Finally he turned his attention to the armored vehicle they had to steal. Ari went to open the door of the green car, but it wouldn't open. He noticed there was a key pad on the door. He'd have to hack into it to disable the lock.
     Luckily, he was a semi skilled hacker. Emphasis on semi.
Outside, Red Death had made quick work of his adversaries and was entering the warehouse to retrieve his ward. Instead of that happening tho, an armored vehicle rammed through the wall and nearly ran him over. Red fell on the ground to avoid being roadkill. As he rolled over, he saw Ari hanging onto the side of the car for dear life.
