The next day at school went by very quick. Ari ignored the kids that always laugh at him, and talked with Kyomi, so everything was the same as usual.
Throughout the day Ari couldn't stop thinking about what had happened last night. How he saved that family from who he could only assume were gangsters that the husband had some kind of affiliation with. His city has had a lot of trouble with gangs lately, but the heroes haven't been doing much about it.
Rosusantosu needed someone to take care of the gang problem, and Ari was not the man for the job. Absolutely not. But he was gonna try anyway.
In the dead of night, Ari suited up and headed out to the city. It was a little chilly but he didn't mind because of his big red hoodie. Tonight he was throwing caution to the wind and not caring about the law, and instead he was attempting to take care of his city's gang problem himself. He climbed up the wall of a connivence store and stood on the roof.

He'd heard from his dad that there may be a gang hideout somewhere in that area

He'd heard from his dad that there may be a gang hideout somewhere in that area. His father was a cop and frequently patrolled the area. However these criminals were good at hiding. Ari walked across the dimly lit street passing some people who gave him suspicious glances and stares.
He stopped right in front of a construction site. If his father's theories were true, this would be an ideal place for a criminal organization to hide.

He walked through the deserted site, looking over his shoulder out of paranoia every few seconds

He walked through the deserted site, looking over his shoulder out of paranoia every few seconds. He saw some suspicious crates with weird labels. "Tuna Fish?" He read one aloud. The hell was that doing here. He punched a hole through it and then tore the rest of the wood off. Super strength comes in handy.
There were guns and a wad of cash in there. He took the cash and held it in his hands. Ari shoved it in his pocket. He kept walking around looking at some power tools and other crap lying around. Suddenly he felt vibrations. He walked over to a white tunnel and saw a man talking. He had a completely white outfit.  The man was holding a gun and talking to someone that Ari couldn't see.
Ari had his back against the wall and couldn't look out from his cover too far or else they might see.

A loud crack sound startled Ari. It startled the criminals too because they noticed Ari and called him out. "We see you! Come out or we'll have to do this the hard way." The man in white said.
Ari slowly stepped out from behind the wall. "What's up douchebags?" He said with a monotone voice, trying to hide how much he wanted to crap his pants and run away. He finally saw the other guy but he quickly turned and ran before Ari could get a good look. The man in white clenched his fists.
"Are you supposed to be a hero or something? You're costume looks like shit." The man said. "That's kinda harsh dude. Also, I ask the questions here. What are you guys doing with those crates?" The man in white's hands changed. They looked rock hard and rigid, and they were silver. They glistened like diamonds. "If I told you I'd have to kill you." He said, and got into a fighting stance.

The man in white threw a punch, but Ari ducked and moved to the side quickly

The man in white threw a punch, but Ari ducked and moved to the side quickly. He tried again with the same result. Ari hit him in the chest and then went for the face but the man in white caught his gloved hand with his own before delivering a punch to the stomach, sending Ari flying backward and landing on his ass. The man in white laughed.
"This is why you don't play hero. I'm assuming you're just some wannabe in a costume, because no pro hero would ever dress like that." Ari sat up and rubbed his head. "You're really adding insult to injury, huh?" He retorted. The man in white got into his exotic car and closed the door.
"I don't have time to play hero vs villain with you." He then drove off. Ari wasn't giving up though. With a small super jump he hoped onto the back of the car. It drove out of the construction site and drove down the road. Ari held on to the back easily, and was kind of enjoying the wind on his face. But everything else was terrifying and he was regretting even putting on the hoodie.
The car exited the main road and was now driving on a bridge. The man in white called some of his friends who were in the area, and told them to help with his stowaway. Then came off of the bridge and started driving down another road.
Ari noticed black cars following them. He knew immediately that wasn't good. Bullets flew through the air and he knew that definitely wasnt good. They all missed, just barley passing him. He turned around on top of the car to face his attackers.
The cars were much closer now, so they were easy targets. He shot streams of the hottest acid he could make at the hood of two cars. The drivers were visually startled, and they swerved into each other and crashed on the side of the road. The third car kept pursuing.
He was about to do the acid thing again when the car he was currently on top of started swerving wildly. Ari crouched down to place his hands on the trunk and regain balance. Whoever was in the last car had a gun pointed at him through the side of the window. Ari and the man in white's car were coming under a bridge, which gave him an idea.
He jumped high into the air, so high he went over he bridge. He did a summersault mid air, and was now facing down wards as he continued to move over the bridge through the air. He caught glimpses of cars and people on motorcycles.
Ari had never been so scared and so excited at the same time. His heart was in his throat but he felt so exhilarated to be in the air like this. Suddenly he was diving back down to the street and he landed nicely on top of the car. And by nicely, I mean he punched through the car roof upon landing and fell into the backseat, landing uncomfortably on his side.
The seats did feel nice though. The Man In White let out a startled cry before swerving some more. Ari sat up quickly. The Man In White pulled out a sub machine gun and was about to shoot Ari, but he grabbed the gun out of his hand immediately and threw it to the side.
"Really? A gun? Dude you just made your hands into diamonds and you were gonna shoot me with a gun?!" Ari didn't notice that The Man In White was driving towards a gas station, specifically the machine that you get gas from. The car was about to collide with it. The Man In White jumped out of the car, giving Ari a rude gesture with his hands as he did so.
Ari finally caught on, and quickly climbed through the hole in the roof and then leaped away. As he soared through the air, he heard a loud boom and felt heat on his back. He turned his head a little and saw a ginormous explosion.
As soon as he landed on the ground, all the way across the street and on the sidewalk, he immediately scanned the area for the Man In White. He was no where to be found. "Holy stinking super crap." Ari muttered. He heard police sirens and civilians were giving him looks, so he decided it was probably best for him to split. Ari took a deep breath and leaped into the air, heading for his house.
Even though he didn't catch the bad guy, he did find out where the bad guy's base of operation is, which is good. That's a start. And he was also pretty awesome back there. Plus he wasn't dead. So all in all, he was off to a pretty good start.
