Chapter Eleven
The Present

"Are you fucking crazy?!" Park Yoora yells, "We could've fucking gotten into an accident, you dumbass!"
Yoora's beyond pissed, wanting to smack him a good one. That is, until she notices the way he grips the steering wheel; his knuckles turning white.
"Yah, Dumbyeol, are you okay?" She questions, her anger replaced with concern for the stupor that had taken over her brother.
Chanyeol's hands loosen, coming off the steering wheel completely as he grabs a hold of Yoora's work case that had thrown to the front when Chanyeol had slammed on the breaks.
Yoora can only watch in confusion as Chanyeol snaps open the clasp and begin to rummage through the files.
"Chanyeol... what is it?" She asks. Never before had Chanyeol acted this way.
Chanyeol does not answer, continuing to disarrange the orderly rows of files until he finds the one he is looking for.
He pulls out the file and releases the bag, letting it fall onto Yoora's lap.
The letters in black stand out on the white label, and Chanyeol holds his breath, mustering up the nerve to open the folder labeled 'Byun'.
The suspense suspended in the small space has Yoora on edge as she witnesses the flickering of Chanyeol's eyes as he reads the private contents of the files.
Chanyeol's eyes widen.
And the folder drops.

"Hey, Kai?" Taemin starts, and turns his head to the left to look at his brother.
The two are lying on Taemin's bed, waiting for their mom to call them down for a dinner.
Kai lives in his own flat, but their mother was very big on family dinners so every evening he drives out to have his mother's cooking.
Kai hms, and Taemin takes that as incentive to continue.
"I... I have something I should tell you," Taemin says hesitating, "But I'm not sure I should."
"You tell me everything." Kai replies, eyes still closed.
Taemin does not reply to that, and instead jumps to a more sensitive topic, "Do you ever wonder what happened to Kyungsoo... and the rest?"
Kai opens his eyes and turns to look at Taemin, "Every day." he says.
Taemin bites his lip at the reply.
