I was lying on my bed in the dark room alone as Ghost insisted on going to his room, saying he was okay. Although we only slept together for two days (on the second night he was about to turn around in his sleep so I pinned him face down with my arms), I noticed that I was used to his presence.

Now the bed was too big and cold.

I tossed and turned around a hundred times but couldn't manage to fall asleep. It was too much space! As I was awake, when there was a thud which was followed by Ghost's curse, I heard it clearly. Thinking something bad happened, I jumped out of bed and rushed to the next door. I didn't notice but I must have been knocking like crazy as Ghost opened the door half-naked while yelling "what?!"

"I..." my gaze stuck to his bare chest, following the water drops which were falling from his half-shampooed hair.

"You what?" Ghost broke my state of trance, "is there something wrong?"

"I thought... something happened to you... when I heard the noises," I managed to finish with two pauses.

What was wrong with me?! He was a guy like me so why I was feeling shy?

"Oh," he adjusted the towel on his back, "I am sorry, I was just washing my hair," he said apologetically.

I looked at him rather suspiciously as he was wet all over. It was obvious that he had problem with the task, maybe the wound was hurting. I wanted to ask why he was doing it at that hour but when I opened my mouth, different words came out.

"I will help you, the burn shouldn't contact with water you know," I said while pushing Ghost in so that I could enter. He opened his mouth probably to object, but I was already in the bathroom.

Ghost stood on the door frame for a second before joining me with a sigh. At least he was sensible as there was no point to argue at one am. He stooped towards the shower cabin, supporting his body with his hands on his knees. I got a dry towel and covered his back before starting to wash his hair.

I dare say it was a really interesting night; I was washing once-enemy-now-friend's hair at one am, and I KINDA LIKED IT! His hair was incredibly soft and his minty shampoo was smelling so nice!

When I finished, I wrapped his hair with a towel and left the bathroom in order to give him some privacy to finish his cleaning. I sat on the sofa in case he needed me and before long, he came out from the bathroom in his black pyjamas. Then, I moved to the door as it was already late, but he stopped me.

"Thank you for your help, apparently I couldn't do it alone," he gave me a little smile, "and sorry again to wake you up as well as to bother you at this hour."

I smiled back to him, "I was already awake so it wasn't a problem, also next time just call me rather than trying to do it alone."

He looked as if he wanted to say something but the words didn't leave his mouth like usual. At the end, he just nodded shyly. He was really quiet compared to us, being used to that, I just left.

Returning to my room, I looked at the bed but I wasn't sleepy at all. So, I slumped to the sofa, playing with my phone. After some time, the door was knocked. I went to the door with a frown and found out it was Ghost.

"Here, it helps to sleep," he passed me a cup of warm milk.

I was so shocked that I couldn't utter a word, just kept staring at him with unbelieved eyes. Maybe it was a dream because Ghost bringing me warm milk at two am was a bit surrealistic.

"Okay then, good night," Ghost decided to leave as I was in another realm.

"Thank you Ghost!" I almost shouted behind him and he acknowledged it with a smile.

Wow, what a day it was!
