39: The True Feelings

"J-jeydon"

I blinked my eyes twice when Jeydon didn't move an inch.

I tried to remove his grip on my wrist but he just raised his eyebrows on me.

"Let go of me!" I said as I tried to remove his hands.

"Why are you eavesdropping, Champagne?" He asked making me stop from removing his hands on my wrist.

"W-what are you talking about?! I'm not eavesdropping. I went to the comfort room. Now let go of me!"

Jeydon scoff to show me that he doesn't believe what I just said.

"What the fuck are you doing with my girlfriend's wrist, Jeydon?"

Napalingon ako ng marinig ang boses ni Jaxon.

"Love"

"Let go of her hand" sabi ni Jaxon kaya agad din namang binitawan ni Jeydon ang kamay ko.

"I don't want to see your face again near my girlfriend, Gorneo" Jaxon said and grab my hand.

I guess we're going home kasi tuloy tuloy na ang lakad ni Jaxon palabas ng bar.

Nang makarating sa car park ay agad niya akong pinagbuksan ng sasakyan without saying anything.

The whole ride pabalik ng unit ko ay walang may nagsasalita sa amin.

I'm confuse. Did I do something? Oh baka naman wala lang siya sa mood? I don't really know what happened kanina sa kanya while drinking kasi magkaiba naman kami ng table eh.

I look at him while he's driving, diretso lang ang tingin niya sa daan, he didn't even bother looking at me.

Nang makarating kami sa building ko, hinatid niya lang ako sa unit ko saka umalis without saying anything!

Wtf is happening to him?!

I tried to call him but he's not answering. I tried to call his phone again but I guess he turned off his phone.

Napailing na lang ako bago nag shower at nagpahinga.

Wala lang siguro sa mood.

I went to sleep after that.

Kinabukasan ay sobrang busy ng company dahil sa biglaang big project na in-offer sa amin.

I was busy the whole week at hindi ko napansin na hindi pa pala kami nakakapag usap ni Jaxon after that night when we went home from the bar! The hell is happening with him?

Ano ba to pataasan ng pride?

I'm on my way paakyat ng unit ko when I saw Aida inside the elevator, she's talking in her phone so I just smiled at her but she automatically avoided my eyes and went outside the elevator.

Pagpasok ko ng unit, I tried calling Jaxon's phone but it's in another call. Business maybe, so nag shower muna ako at nag order ng pagkain.

Pagkatapos kong kumain ay nanood ako ng TV kaya naman sinubukan ko ulit tawagan ang phone niya but I just couldn't get a hold of him!

What the fuck. Jaxon is really getting into my nerves.

I sigh. Fine. Bukas pupunta ako ng company niya, sigurado akong nandun siya.

For now, I badly need a rest. I'm so exhausted!

Kinabukasan, I planned to absent whole day para pumunta sa office ni Jaxon.

"Good morning po Ma'am. What can I do for you?" Nakangiting tanong ng bagong receptionist.
