me and my best friend jack were talking at the lunch table alone.. you see we're not the most popular people, well that's an overstatement. we barley get noticed by anyone and at the same time we know people talk about us. but we don't really care.
then there's Jonah.
he's kinda the bad boy of the school. me and him have a kinda complicated relationship. in a flirty way I guess? he's the flirt.
I don't like him though.
well..
no I don't. right?
ugh I don't know!
he's hot and all and I do kinda like him but I don't know if I can trust him.
"Daniel!!"
"huh- oh sorry.."
I guess I got to far into my thoughts..
"what happened?" jack asked me. "I'm just thinking.." "about what?" "oh it's nothing don't worry about it!"
so for like 10 minuets there we were just talking. well until.. "DANIEL JACK!" Corbyn said running to us. "what happened??" jack said turning around to face Corbyn. "fight.. hall- Jonah and eben.." he said out of breath. "Jonah's in a fight?!" I said worried.
"y—yeahh with Eben I don't know why but I saw them fighting ebens face was all messed up and Jonah's nose was all bloody."
by now I was so worried. close to crying even. I really do care for Jonah I don't want him getting hurt.
"w-where is he?? can you bring me to them?" I said shaking. "Come!!"
we were running down the hall. I was shaking. I really didn't think I would care this much..
then I saw him
he was on top of eben. Eben was the school bully/popular boy. Jonah had his knee on his chest to hold him down. ebens face was all bloody and messed up. what happened?
I started crying. I don't know why.. but I was.
Jonah had a bruised eye and a bloody nose. he still wasn't as bad as eben though. but I really don't care about eben I only really cared about Jonah.
"Jonah!! stop! please.."
he turned around to look at my teary eyes. his eyes went from fierce and angry to soft and gentle. he got off of eben and came to me, he hugged me. suddenly I felt so much more calm and comfortable.
He grabbed my waist and looked down at me.
"w-what h-happened? why were you fighting him..?" I said sadly "come princess I'll tell you somewhere more. private.." he said while looking back at the crowd.
he took me took me to the bathroom and held my waist tightly. blush coated my cheeks.
he put one of his hands on my cheek and looked at me directly in my eyes. "I did it because he started talking bad about you.. I hated it. it pissed me off." I started tearing up again. he did it for me.. "Jonah.." I said still looking directly in his eyes as he looked started mine.
a few seconds pass and.
he kissed me.
I was taken back by it but I kissed back quickly.
there we were in the bathroom kissing. it was deep and meaningful. I could feel all the sparks going off.
after a while we had to pull back because we are human beings and need to breath. I was just so surprised and confused. did he just kiss me?!
"I- uh- j- Jonah.." I couldn't believe that Jonah the Jonah Marais kissed ME! "Dani... I have liked you a lot ever since I laided my eyes on you. will you be mine. just mine..?"
