"Come on, what are you waiting for?" Ben asked.

"I'm not going," I said.

"This isn't really up for discussion, Goldie. You took the deal and now you have to pay the price."

"If you think you'll be able to lay a hand on me, then-" I put my hand to the side of my waist, but realized that it wasn't there.

"Looking for this?" Ben reached into his front pocket and took out my switchblade.

"Since you're threatening to keep your end of the deal, I guess we'll have to make this a bit more complicated," he said. "I'll give you your switchblade back if you agree to come to my house."

"And why would I agree to that?"

"Just do it, Goldie," he ordered. "It won't take long, anyway."

"Fine," I gave in.

Ben gave a small smirk before he grabbed my wrist. I shook his hand off and scowled.

"If you keep doing that, I swear to all things holy, I will kill you."

Ben laughed. "Of course you would." He took my wrist again and before I could move it away, he ran out, forcing me to come with him.

We stopped at a decently big house and Ben opened the door. He told me to wait on the couch. But I didn't listen.

I stood up and went upstairs to look at the other rooms. There were 5, maybe six, but only 2 were labeled. One was Ben and the other was Bree.

Who is Bree? I asked myself. I wanted to open the door, but I forced myself not to.

So instead, I opened Ben's door and found him picking clothes from his closet. He stood up with a newly packed gym bag and said, "I'm done!"

"What's in there?" I pointed to the gym bag.

"It's for today's event," he said with his regular smirk.

"Which is?"

"Fun."

I rolled my eyes and started walking downstairs with Ben in front of me. I accidentally missed a step along the way, so I started rolling down. And of course, since Ben was in front of me, he joined my fall.
