I woke up to a throbbing headache and a dry throat, along with various other alcohol side effects I've read about.

"Finally, you're awake," someone greeted me.

My vision was a bit blurry, so I couldn't tell who it was. "What time is it?" I asked.

"3:47 pm," the voice answered.

"Are you my dad?" I asked, hoping it wasn't.

"No, Erinne, I'm not."

I blinked a few times before I fully regained my vision. I found Rae sitting next to me on the bed.

She handed me a glass of water and Aspirin. I took the medicine and handed the glass back to her after.

"What do you remember?" She asked.

"Uhh-" I couldn't remember much, to be honest- "I took the cup Devin gave me and drank it, and then I danced on the dance floor."

"That's it?"

"That's all I can remember," I admitted.

"Well, that's good."

"Why? What'd I do?"

"Nothing much. According to Ben, at least."

"Ben?" I didn't remember being with him at all.

"Yeah, according to him, he dropped you off here and left right after."

"How much did I drink?" I asked while rubbing my temples.

"A shot."

"Damn, I guess my body doesn't handle alcohol well."

"Don't worry," she reassured me. "It was drugged, so it doesn't mean anything."

"Do you mean-"

Rae nodded and I growled. Devin drugged the drink she gave me.

"I'm gonna go on a run," I said as I stood up, trying to ignore my headache.

"Erinne, you should be resting, not running," Rae countered.
