"Hey Gol-" Before Ben could continue, I opened the door, forcing him to move away from me as I stood up.

I looked at Ben and once I made sure he was unharmed, I started walking towards the truck. Surprisingly, Nick and Tyler were inside, along with other people I didn't know.

"So, you're just movers now?" I asked.

"Yeah, you could say that," Nick muttered as he picked up a box.

I started walking to the house and inside was dad was leaning on a newly placed table, calling another client. Since I had nothing left to do, I went outside and started walking back to the car.

"Hey Goldie," Ben said as he ran to me. "Since you're bored, could you help us?"

"Sure. If you can keep up."

And after 2 long days of moving boxes and putting everything on display, our house was finally set. Along the way, though, I lost my phone somewhere.

But of course, I didn't tell my dad. He'd just get me a new one and I didn't want it to be a hassle. Besides, a few days without it wouldn't hurt... right?

I dressed into some pajamas and entered my new library. Excited, I picked a book off the shelf and sat down on the floor. I cracked it open and started reading, treasuring every line I read.

I was nearing the end of the book when I heard a window creak from behind me. I had my switchblade with me, as usual, so I decided to act like I didn't see them.

When the window was fully open and the person was inside, I looked behind me. The robber was dressed in all black and had a ski mask on. I threw my switchblade, aiming for the right shoulder of the person. Although I missed, it clipped his shirt to the wall, so he couldn't escape.

I looked at the robber to make sure he didn't have any weapons. When I made sure he didn't, I walked closer and picked my switchblade off the wall. The killer took its mask off and I gasped, walking away from him slowly.

"B-Ben...?"

"Erinne, what the he-" I covered his mouth before he could continue.

"My dad doesn't know you're in here, Ben."
