"Don't resist, Genevieve, you'll only get hurt in the process," the kidnapper whispered into my ear.
I took a deep breath and wrapped my leg around his, causing him to trip and fall with me on top of him. I quickly stood up and started running away from the kidnapper, getting farther and farther into the alley.
A person popped up from behind a garbage can with no weapons in their hands. I looked the other way, but the kidnapper from earlier was there. Both were wearing loose dark clothes and ski masks, so I couldn't see their faces.
"I can take on both of you," I announced, putting myself in a fighting stance.
"Jie, do it!" The kidnapper shouted. He was a guy, his voice showed that.
The other person, Jie, moved quickly—too quickly for me to react. I felt him jab me in multiple different areas, and I fell.
I was on the ground. I tried to lift my arms, but they couldn't.
I couldn't.
"What-What did you do to me?" I stuttered out.
"The effects will numb out soon," the kidnapper—not Jie—said.
He took me—or more on, my body—and the two of them ran out of the alley. A limo was waiting at the end of a road and Jie quickly opened it for the other kidnapper, who was holding me.
We both went in and Jie entered after, shutting the door fully as the limo started moving. The kidnapper set me on a seat and tied my hands and feet before he sat in a comfortable position himself.
"Well, that was fun, wasn't it Jie?" The kidnapper said as he took his mask off.
He had rebellious black hair and hazel eyes. His eyes gave an impeccable aura—death. I couldn't stand looking him in the eye without being frightened, to be honest.
Jie nodded with his mask still on.
"Where was I? Oh! The introductions," the kidnapper reminded himself. "I'm Jordan Jade and this is Jie-" he pointed to the person beside him.
