Erik widened his eyes and screamed at the top of his lungs as his body dropped down like a fly.

He glanced down and noticed how he's slowly nearing himself to the ground and once he closed his eyes and prepared himself for the hard and deadly landing, he gasped and awoke from this painful dream.

He wiped the sweat with the back of his hand and breathed heavily.

Why would he dream about Adrian?

That man left him too.

Everyone does. Doesn't really surprise him though.

Erik was feeling quite stressful, he was gently rubbing the space between his eyebrows with two fingers and even let out a sigh, but when glancing upwards he noticed how the messy table in front of him was cleaned and the floor was too. He didn't know who did it but he was still thankful since he was quite tired and wouldn't have been able to do it.

He fully buttoned his shirt up then grabbed his coat and walked out of his office. When opening the door, he realized that he slept for a full day and the desks outside were completely empty.

He turned every light in the station off before exiting through the back door and lazily walked towards his car. He pulled out the keys from his bag before opening the doors and stepping inside.

For some reason, out of the uneasy feeling he's been having because of recent events, he checked every corner of his car to make sure he really was by himself. Even touching every edge for any possible hidden cameras.

No, he was safe.

Dreams are sometimes there to warn you from the future or something we desire deeply. Which one could explain his dream though? He doesn't desire to see nor talk to Adrian, the gut left him. And he doesn't think that this man will appear in his future any time soon.

He tighetened his grip on the steering wheel and bit his teeth harshly. The more he thought about it, the worse his headache was getting. He sighed once again before putting his keys in and starting the car, then he drove home.

The streets were mostly empty. A few families were outside and enjoying the time they were spending together, you can just tell by their laughter and smiles.

Erik was waiting in a line, since the only loud and annoying thing was the traffic, and noticed a white car beside him which had a family inside. He overheard the mother chat with their son, who surprisingly enough was a homosexual. Erik sneakily glanced over at the boy, he seemed rather upset since his head was hanging low and wasn't talking at all since his mouth was shut.

"It would be better for you my dear if you hang out more with that Tatyana girl, instead of that Max guy. People may think wrongly of you guys"

"But ... am I abnormal Mom?"
