One day at the Shie Hassaikai, the leader known as Overhaul was meditating when one of his underlings entered his office.

Yakuza Thug: Boss! We got a problem! The girl....she's gone!

Upon hearing this, Overhaul became enraged. As he approached the thug, Overhaul regained his composure.

Overhaul: She couldn't have gone far. There are only a few places she could go. Find her. She is very valuable to our organization. I want everyone searching the city for her.

With that, Overhaul began the search for the girl. Meanwhile, Eri found herself in an alleyway far from the Shie Hassaikai Compound. As she takes a moment to rest, she hears footsteps coming near the alleyway. Fearing for her safety, she gets up and runs without thinking. As she runs she bumps into a Whiphid Jedi Master. Eri felt immense fear at the Whiphid's stature. She began to tun, but behind her was Yu Hojo: a member of the Eight Expendables along with a group of Yakuza thugs.

Hojo: There you are little Eri! You gave us quite a scare. But now it's time to come home! We have much work to accomplish!

Without hesitation, Eri hid behind the Whiphid. Hojo then approached the Jedi Master.

Hojo: You're a strange looking one.

Whiphid: I am Jedi Master K'Kruhk. What is your dealings with this girl?

Hojo: That is none of your concern. Now come along little Eri. Overhaul is worried sick.

Upon hearing that name, Eri clutched at K'Kruhk's leg tightly. K'Kruhk could feel immense fear from Eri. It became clear to the Jedi Master that Hojo didn't have Eri's best intentions.

Hojo: Now now Eri. You're being hysterical. Come along quietly.

K'Kruhk quickly realized that Eri feared these men. She clutched K'Kruhk's leg even tighter. As Hujo reached out for Eri, K'Kruhk stepped in.

K'Kruhk: She's not going anywhere. It is clear that she has no desire

At this point, the Yakuza thugs surrounded the Jedi Master. Hojo himself approached K'Kruhk.

Hojo: You don't want to do this. Simply give us the girl and we'll allow you to leave this place, unharmed.

K'Kruhk: I mean you no harm. But I will not let you take this girl.

Hujo: That is not your choice.

Despite being surrounded, K'Kruhk showed no fear. As for Eri, it felt as if her attempt to escape would fail yet again. Hope seemed loss, until K'Kruhk waved his hand in front of Hojo.

K'Kruhk: You will leave the girl be and go about your business.

Hojo: We will leave the girl and go about our business.

K'Kruhk: You will report to your master that you were unable to find the girl.

Hojo: I will report to my master that I was unable to find the girl.

K'Kruhk: Now you will leave and forget this encounter.

Hojo: Now I will leave and forget this encounter.

Hojo and the Yakuza thugs began walking out of the alleyway in a trance. As Eri watched in confusion, K'Kruhk turned to the frightened girl and knelt down.

K'Kruhk: You're safe, young one.

Eri: Are they....are they gone?

K'Kruhk: Yes, young one. They won't harm you.

Eri was in a state of shock as she quaked in fear. Tears began falling  from her eyes as she looked upon K'Kruhk.

K'Kruhk: Where are your parents?

Eri: G....gone.....

K'Kruhk then placed his hand on Eri's shoulder as a means of comforting her. As he did, K'Kruhk could feel the Force in her.

K'Kruhk: What's your name young one?

Eri was hesitant about giving her name. She didn't know if she could trust the Jedi Master. K'Kruhk reassured her with a smile on his face.

Eri: Eri....

K'Kruhk: You're safe now, Eri.

Eri looked upon K'Kruhk with unsure eyes. The frightened little girl didn't know what to think about the Jedi. But her mind soon fell on wanting to leave.

Eri: Please....help me....

K'Kruhk felt sorrow for Eri. Her clothes were a plain and pale, short-sleeved dress which were nothing more than rags. She also had bandages wrapped around her arms and legs. At this point, it became clear to the Jedi Master that Eri's life was one of pain and torment. Not only that, but it was clear that Eri was strong in the Force. K'Kruhk soon came to a decision.

K'Kruhk: Come with me.

Eri followed K'Kruhk out of the alleyway. When her feet got tired, K'Kruhk carried Eri on his back. K'Kruhk eventually took Eri to an empty plains where K'Kruhk's green Jedi Starfighter was landed.

Eri: What...what is that?

K'Kruhk: It is my personal Starfighter. It will take us far away from this place.

K'Kruhk and Eri soon boarded the Jedi Starfighter. K'Kruhk started up the Starfighter's controls. As he did, lights from the cockpit began to light up and the engine started to hum. K'Kruhk then piloted the Jedi Starfighter out into Earth's atmosphere. Eri looked upon this scene with absolute awe in her eyes. Once the Starfighter exited Earth's atmosphere, K'Kruhk's Starfighter entered the hyperspace docking ring. When the Astromech Droid asked for coordinates, K'Kruhk set the coordinates for Coruscant. After entering the coordinates. K'Kruhk's Jedi Starfighter jumped into Hyperspace. In that moment, Eri was free from Overhaul. No longer would she endure unimaginable torture to further Overhaul's own ends. Despite being freed from Overhaul, the fear Overhaul planted in her never truly went away. What Eri didn't know was that she was now set on a new path.
