this is the sequel to "~him~" a josh Richards story, so if you haven't read the first book I would read that one first and then come to this one cause it will make much more sense.
Josh comes back for a long holiday break but something on the intern...
I wake up to Josh gently nudging me awake, my eyes flutter open to see his cute face.
"Hey sleepyhead" he smiled warmly. I yawned as he leans over and wraps his hands around my waist and hugs me, I hug him back and nestle my head on the crook of his shoulder.
"I would kiss you, but I have morning breathe" I sighed as he let me go from the embrace.
"I would kiss you any time of the day" he stated as he helped me sit up on the bed. I giggled as I stand up and walk into his bathroom.
"Here are some of Liv's clothes, meet me downstairs?" he asked. I took the clothes from him and nodded, I quickly freshen up and put on the clothes. I check myself out in the mirror and climb down the stairs.

"Morning y/n," said Josh's mum as I see her in the kitchen making coffee.
"Hey Mrs Richards" I smiled as I walked to her and Josh.
"How are you?" she asked as she handed me a mug of coffee.
"Good actually" I replied as I sipped the coffee.
"Mum, I am taking y/n to grandma's cafe!" said Josh. Josh's mum's face lit up at the news.
"Really Josh? She'll love it" smiled Mrs Richards as she patted my shoulder.
"Your gonna love it," said Josh as he grabbed his car keys and dragged me out to his car.
"Have fun kids!" shouted Mrs Richards as Josh closed the front door.
"So we are going to your grandma's cafe?" I asked him as I got into the car. He nodded excitedly, I laughed as he started the engine.
"It's really pretty inside, plus she serves the best cheesecake" he replied.
"You know how much I would die for cheesecake," I said as I thought of the idea of a good slice of cheesecake.
"Oh yes it's like you and sushi" he chuckled as he drove.
"Food and me, match made in heaven" I grinned. I turn the radio on and "Electric Love" by Borns starts playing through the car's speakers. I grin to myself, knowing we are gonna turn into the cheesy singing duo that happens way too much.

"All I need is to be struck" I sang.
"By your electric love!" Josh sang.
"Baby, you're electric love!" I sang back as a smile crept up my cheeks.
"Electric love!" he sang.

I laugh as I dance in my seat as the song continues playing and soon we arrive at the little cafe. I step out of the car to see cute purple chairs and tables at the entrance of the cafe, the windows a light teal colour and the cafe name typed in a fancy font. Cute pot plants resting on the tables, I smile to myself seeing how pretty it is.

"It's so cute!" I squealed as we both walk into the cafe. Josh smiles at my expression, I see an old lady behind the counter. Her white hair in thick curls, she is wearing a baby pink blouse and a floral silky skirt.
"MY JOSHIE BOY!" she shouted as she sees I and Josh enter the cafe. I look around the inside of the cafe, a large glass covers the different sorts of pastries and muffins and the same aesthetic covers the rest of the room. Vines crawl on the walls and the smell of sweet fruit entered my nose as I stare at the sweets inside the glass cover.
"Is this the special lady?" asked Josh's grandma as she takes a look at me. I give her a small smile and a nod.
"She's quite pretty" smiled the old woman. I laugh to myself as my hand finds Josh's.
"Y/n really likes your cafe, don't you y/n?" asked Josh as he looks at me.
"Yes I do, it's very cute. I would love to come here sometime" I responded. The women smile at my comment.
"Let me bring you some breakfast," she said as she disappeared behind a door next to the coffee brewer.
"She is really cute," I said to Josh as we take a seat at one of the purple tables.
"Old people are always cute, I bet you she will outdo herself since she saw you," he said. I blushed as I tucked a wisp of hair behind my ear.
"You are dressed in sweats and you still look gorgeous" sighed Josh. My cheeks flushed at his comment.
"Your too kind" I laughed as we hear Josh's grandma come walking with a tray. She sets it down and grins to herself.
"Tuck in kids," she said.
"Thank you for the food," I said as she walks away. On the silver tray, there are is 4 croissants, a pint of fresh milk, a small plate of jam and butter, a cute little jar of honey and tub of yoghurt.
"She did outdo herself" I smiled as I take a croissant.
"I told you" Josh stated. I spread some butter on my croissant and bite into it.
"This is so good, and it's literally just a croissant and butter," I said as I took another bite.
"It's all baked and made by her" Josh said.
"Even the butter and yoghurt and honey and milk and jam?" I asked with surprise. Josh nodded and burst into laugher at my shocked face.
"You should appreciate your grandma's work a lot more," I said to him as I spread some jam onto my croissant.
"I visit and call her often, she once sent me a hamper filled with food while I was at Penn State," he said as he ate.
"What a spoilt boy" I laughed.
