this is the sequel to "~him~" a josh Richards story, so if you haven't read the first book I would read that one first and then come to this one cause it will make much more sense.
Josh comes back for a long holiday break but something on the intern...
I stop by Josh's house, my eyes drift to Nick and Josh who are talking.
"Ahh we are back home" Nick smiled as he looked out his window.
"It's literally still 3, we could always go to the movies or something?" asked Josh.
"No you guys go, I need to finish off an assignment from my professor," said Nick as he got out and leaned his arms on my rolled-down window.
"You sure? Its break, have a little fun?" I asked Nick.
"I really need to finish it, it was fun meeting you y/n" Nick smiled.
"You too, see you later?" I smiled back. He nodded and looked over at Josh.
"I'll see you for dinner?" asked Nick. Josh nodded and we said our goodbyes and I drove in the direction of my house.
"Where do you want me to go?" I asked Josh. His eyes lock with his phone, as his thumb scrolls down the screen. His eyes look up when I spoke.
"Follow Google map's voice," said Josh as he entered the address and put it up next to me. My eyes drift to his phone screen, we were gonna be driving near an ocean or a water body.
"OOooo we are going somewhere that is water-related!?" I asked excitedly as I looked at Josh.
"Eyes on the road my girl" he snickered. I rolled my eyes and kept driving.
"Also I forgot to ask, when did you get your new whip?" he asked.
"A few weeks ago, before you came. I got it as a very late Christmas present" I laughed as I turned a right.
"Nice nice, now I don't have to drive" sighed Josh as he kicked his feet on the dashboard. I reached and slapped his legs, his legs shooting back down to the floor of the car.
"I would like to keep this car clean" I giggled as I kept driving. Josh groaned, soon we arrive at the location. We both get out to see a single Ferris wheel, a crowd of people waiting in line to ride it. Around the Ferris wheel, we are surrounded by a roaring ocean sprawled with more people lying in the sand.
"Wanna go ride it?" asked Josh. I nodded as we both walked to the line.
"Why is it so crowded?" I asked.
"Has a breathtaking view at the top, I won't reveal too much" he smiled as we waited in line.
"Judging by the crowd, I bet it's amazing" I smiled as I looked up to the people who are on it already. A couple already at the top, the girl's brown hair blowing in the wind with a wide grin plastered on her pretty face. The boy's face equally filled with joy, as they look at the view. I smile to myself as I bring my eyes back to Josh, his eyes fixed on the couple and a small grin appeared on his face.
"They look like they are having fun," I said to him as he looks back at me.
"And soon we will back at the top," said Josh as we moved up the line. We were in the line for another 30 minutes, soon it was nearly 5 and the sun was setting.
"Next!" said the man at the front. We both got into the small seats and soon we were climbing up. My eyes look at the breathtaking sunset, the sun sitting at the very end of the glistening ocean. The sky decorated with streaks of yellow, pink and orange, I see from the corner of my eye that Josh is staring at me. I quickly bring my gaze to him and lock eyes with him.
"Your right, it is very pretty" I smiled as I looked back at the sunset.
"I know right, glad you liked it" grinned Josh as his hand found mine. A smile crept up my face as his hand rested with mine, the warm tingling feeling entering my body. Josh's hand gently turned my stare from the scenery to his soft eyes, my hand reached his neck as our lips connected. His other hand went to my waist as I smile into the kiss. We then hear a cheer from the bottom of the Ferris wheel, we stop kissing and look down to see a couple below us just got engaged. The man on one knee, and the woman covering her shocked expression with her hands.
"I wish I watched that proposal" I pouted as I see the couple kissing.
"You didn't like that really hot kiss?" pouted Josh.
"Of course I did my baby" I smiled as I found my hand on his thigh. He smiled as he sees my hands and our lips meet again. I lean against the Ferris wheel seat as he kisses me, ultimately I am lying on the seat with Josh on top of me. His hand cupping my face, when we are both flung to the floor of our little compartment. The Ferris wheel is moving once again. We both laughed as we sit on the floor.
"Kissing on a Ferris wheel and falling down, who are we?" Josh laughed as we finally reached the bottom. We both walk out of our little compartment and walk towards the beach lookout.
"We are y/n and Josh!" I giggled as we reached the low lookout. We both gaze at the now disappeared sun, leaving us with a beautiful sky. Josh comes behind me, his hands find my waist and rest his chin on my head. I smile to myself as I touch his hand.
"You guys are adorable" squealed a voice. We turn around to see a bunch of girls, holding their phones with wide grins.
"Oh hey" smiled Josh as he looked to their phones.
"Are you Josh Richards?" asked another a girl. He nodded, they all giggled and I left them to take pictures. Soon Josh walked back to me, staring at his phone.
"Got the photo they took of us" smiled Josh as he showed me. I smiled as I looked at the cute photo of us.
"Post-it for me? Imma rush to the bathroom" asked Josh. I nodded as I took the phone from me and see Josh run to the nearest bathroom. My thumb clicks on Instagram and posts it on his account.
