Crossroad between the choppy waves and serene fields

If we were truly meant to be, no amount of misundertanding stands in between

"Jon .....thanks for always being there for me, for always giving me the encouragement, I'm a big boy now....I'm ready to move on on my own, hope you have been well." Kay paused as he put the flowers down. "Jon, I have been hesitating all these years but i think I have thought it through....I'm ready to bring the relationship to the next stage....he had asked. I want to be with him, bless us as how you have always watch over me all these while in silence. Don't worry he treats me well, I'll be okay." Kay stayed for a while and left. This chapter stays dear to his heart but he knows what he wants now as the story and Yan Lan continues after that day

"Kay hurry up we will miss the lights, it's green now" Yan Lan held his hand onto Kay's shoulder as they literally scramble through Shibuya scramble square.
"Oh no wait just too many people .....watch it!" Kay alerted. They walk as they avoided the crowd from the various direction criss crossing into the opposite path sipping Starbucks coffee from the nearby shop.
Both Yan Lan and Kay took time off to do what they wanted to long overdue trips. They have another day before hopping over the west and Akhibara was their next stop as Kay wanted to check out the collections of anime after a meeting that Kay had. "How was your meeting earlier?" Yan Lan asked. "Oh! was awesome, they all started drawing when they were kids/ teenagers. Very good quality of work indeed." Kay had been planning to meet an old friend of his working with a few young talents producing some short anime series. The production of a few of the series he had seen had been really good and since he is here he doesn't mind stopping by for a visit and discuss further opportunities.

"Okay we need to get back early to tonight, tomorrow we have a long flight."

Traveling with Yan Lan brings back a lot of nostalgic moments as Kay sat quietly rested looking at the window pane out from the window seat as Yan Lan held his hands squeezing it tight. Yan Lan was relieve after going through that nights event when he saw how much Kay had bottled up about how he felt. And the scariest part of it was how Kay could ignore the inflicted cut on his hands holding of to the broken glass the whole episode had woken up Yan Lan whom was always convinced he Yan Lan was the one who is most daring, least composed, emotional and fiery with passion as compared to Kay. But that night the role switched. At the height of it pushed to the edge - Kay seems to be off from his usual self, scary is a mild description. Kay's opposite reflex of quiet and subtleness wiped out Yan Lan's ego. He saw the boy he loved whom had almost given up hope on them fighting on to keep it going in silent. Yan Lan realised how foolish and childish he had been.  Yan Lan then realised these misunderstandings that had build overtime cause more harm to them.

Back on the plane the shutters were down as the lights were dimmed, Kay's head lean in towards Yan Lan side titled on his shoulder, with his eyes closed seemingly quietly asleep, Yan Lan lean his head in looking at Kay just observing him while his hands were holding Kay's. The sweet moment of appreciation lasted for sometime as Yan Lan thought through how fragile Kay is that night and it's all because of Yan Lan. He lightly planted a kiss on Kay's forehead as he took a nap together.

"We're back here!" Kay say excitedly "you know Yan Lan the last time I was here walking by this same park ....I was intrigue by many incidences. There was this gentleman that proposed to this beautiful girl but she was blind seated on the wheel chair... And then there was this other coup.." Yan Lan cut Kay short of his words and drew him in for a kiss under the afternoon breeze under the lovely trees along the park. They were locked in a long embrace and kiss that kept Kay quiet and shy..."ummmh okay what was that for?" He asked shyly.

"I love you ... and for working hard to have us wear your designer shirt and for not giving up on us even though I was a nuisance" Yan Lan stared deep into Kay's eyes

"Ahhh! That hmm!" He look away shyly "glad you know you are a nuisance!"

"I'm sorry I hurt you so much, never again Kay I promise" Yan Lan said with all the sincerity in his heart

After that night's ordeal, Yan Lan and Kay spent time as adult to trash out their misunderstandings, it was an ugly closed door venting where he saw Kay letting out his every thoughts and Yan Lan releasing and venting his side but both sensitive of each other's reaction and landed up realising it all started because they love each other at the bottom of their actions that were triggered and were trying to protect each other not wanting to loose each other more than what had been succumb to. "Kay I don't want to ever see you like that again," he looked at Kay's bandaged palm and took it in his hands. "Whatever hurts you, hurts me..." as Kay recalled how those words triggered their reconciliation and how those embraced and kisses saw Yan Lan taking Kay in again, locked in embrace as the longing misses brought them desperately together after years of misunderstanding. "Uh Yan Lan slow down..." those words which Yan Lan miss, the moans that ignited the long long fiery passion kept buried, Yan Lan tore Kay's shirt apart as he made him bend and pushed him in hard as both of them yearn for each other. Yan Lan's every thrust was accompanied with "I'm sorry" while Kay took it in reciprocally with "I miss you so much". They were both healing each other through each thrust and emotions.  The movement so in sync until they could not hold on further and releasing simultaneously. Yan Lan knew and felt that it's still Kay after all that could fill him after these years of misses and likewise Kay melted into Yan Lan's touch again.... and his heart never changed. 

"What are you thinking?" Kay asked as he watched Yan Lan dazing as they walked hand in hand enjoying the calm nature surrounding them. Yan Lan stopped and turn to Kay... he stared at Kay for a bit before he said  "Marry me Kay... let's build a family together"

Kay stopped and look at Yan Lan admiring this guy in front of him as time stop and silence took over like when a film stop for a bit in between only falling leaves accompany their surrounding as the afternoon breeze blew a song of love silently across the park. He look at Yan Lan who is starring intensively back for an answer and as time stood still further, Yan Lan took out something from his pocket and open it as he knelt down "I mean it Kay, I want to walk this life with you and grow old together, would you let me?" Kay teared as it took so much for them to come to this stage ...and out here where the angels have brought them together again, Kay nodded as he picked Yan Lan up and hugged him, whispering a "Yes" into Yan Lan's ears. The summer flowers smelled particularly sweet that day at the park. The chirping birds were chatting seemingly from above somehow uttering some relieve words of "finally!" And the summer breeze that afternoon brushes Kay's face whispering words of encouragement "you will be alright" ....

Yan Lan held Kay in for a deep kiss dwelling in this sweet moment sending silent messages through the kiss "thank you for believing in us"
