The noise was terrible...the helicopter made a huge noise and Emma couldn't hear anything: only the sweet and gentle voice of Norman reaching out for her, with Lucas looking with his brown, reddish eyes at her. They were kind just like Norman's: 

He asked her to trust him

And she gave her life to him as she extended her hand. It all happen in a flash 

" Emma! Hold on to me and don't let go all right? They are going to get you out of here so you can be safe! " 

Emma shivered, Norman's eyes had no hesitation whatsoever and she gasped the colar of his white shirt. She wondered before, if it was or her escape would she leave him behind and never look back? He was to important to her now...a ray of light into her life 

They spent so many time together...he teached her so many new things...he unraveled a new world for her to see, and turned those oppressive wall of that terrible lab something fun, warm. She never tough warm memories would take place in the location she hated the most 

She didn't wavered and she didn't wondered if she would leave him behind 

She would be alongside him, if he felt the same way...if he would want her by his side 

" Ok Norman!" 

" Hurry guys, the cops are starting to wake up and this is getting difficult to hold them down!" 

" You hear Violet, Norman...now that we have Emma get's go" 

" Right!" 

Norman and Vicent started runing with Emma in Norman's arms. She felt his body adjust to her shape and wight and for a moment she was worried if he had the strength to carry her...after all Norman was frail and his body was weak compared to his brilliant mind 

As they started running, Gillian, Nigel and the other guys lead the way to the shortest path to the helicopter, as Oliver and Zack secured the cops and Vincent to make sure no one would dare to fire at them as they ran. Hayato, Anna and Rosie made sure that the cops interconnections devises were cut so they wouldn't call for reinforcements 

" Hurry, Norman we are almost there!" 

Norman's vision was starting to get burred...his legs were weak and he felt like he was going to fall down at any moment. Still, the adrenaline of the moment, of the rain hitting his silver hair and eye lashes as Emma held on to him, kept him going and the finish line was right there in front of him 

He could see the finish line...the light in the end of the tunel...the new beginning of his life 

Was his father proud of him? He embraced his selfish desires and acted like a child. He even called for the help of his father's best friend, Lucas and his especial action independent force. He was runing for his life with a mermaid in his arms.

He looked up into the numb sky for a second and he could hear him laughing at him...Yuugo

That Damned father making his life a mess...giving him the hope of a new life

All ended in such a fast way...Yuugo was right...Universe's main goal was to destroy    

" Norman! NO! Who the fuck shoot? Who the hell did that?" - Gillian screamed as blood dripped from Norman's arm without stooping. Norman widen his eyes...he was starting to feel dizzy with such a blood loss...still Emma
