Midnight Sky: First Star in the Night Sky
"I didn't know Shawarma could taste this good!" Kiki exclaimed as she took another bite from the Pita with spicy chicken fillet and vegetables such as cucumber and tomatoes. "If I had known sooner, I would eat a lot of this."
"Shawarma is the one of the best spicy food," Jungkook said while chewing. "I often eat this a lot because it has different Asian flavor. It is saucy which is why I prefer mango shake."
"Ho-ho, you study this too?" Kiki asked in delight as her taste buds danced with the different flavor and spices the food have.
Jungkook let out his deep, rough laugh; the sound of it swarmed around Kiki's head very melodically. She never heard him laugh before, she never even saw him smile sincerely. She has to admit that she likes it when he laughs. Kiki got a moment to study some details of him like the dignity of his strong jawline and how it faintly moves when he breathes, the dip of his collar bones and how his hair cast an attractive shadow over his manly eyes and pronounced cheekbones.
"I don't study everything but I pay attention to the small things. When I am in a bad mood which is most of the times, I either smoke or go for food trips," Jungkook answered, taking a sip on his mango juice. "Food is really some of the best way to relieve stress."
Jungkook figured out not to tell her that he also likes looking for fist fights and stuff. She doesn't need to know that since he was sure they won't spend time like this again. He would make sure he won't bump into her in the next few days.
Kiki finished her second one and already unwrapped the third one. She is a heavy eater and it make senses because she dances a lot. She also keeps talking to the Garfield he gives which he finds really funny. Who would expect that the fierce, boyish, and cold girl on the stage is such a softball when she's not performing?
Kiki always gets into character and that separates her from the rest of the dancers in her school.
"Anyway," Kiki put down the Shawarma on the tray and focus her eyes on his. "Two years ago I was your crush, right?"
Oh, this definitely doesn't sounds good.
Jungkook pretended not to be bothered by the twisted thoughts that are forming in Kiki's mind. She won't let her manipulate him again and try to catch something from his statement so whatever she will ask, Jungkook will play safe and answer like he doesn't care. "So what about the history we have before?"
Kiki licked her lips, her eyes blinking twice as her expression shifted from dorky to a serious one. "What did you like about me? Did you fell in love with my beauty or my body?"
Jungkook threw back his head with a hearty laugh that made Kiki's heart ooze with joy and race erratically. His huge, goofy grin overwhelmed him that she forgot she was talking to the vicious wolf of the campus who'll bit your head off if you try to say something stupid.
