Midnight Sky: Knowing more about the luminous star :(
"What are you doing here?"
Jungkook asked incredulously as soon he opened the door to see Kiki Xu standing in the front of their house with her conceited smirk. She was wearing a purple long-sleeve crop top and leggings paired with her Converse rubber shoes. She was holding a Kripsy Kreme box in her left hand and two Bubble-tea in her right one.
"Is it bad to visit my man?" She pouted because Jungkook's tone was slightly cold. She noticed how agitated and slightly never he is when he saw her.
"It's family day today. I told you to spend the day with your parents," he reprimanded. "Just because I'm courting you doesn't mean you can just come here anytime."
"They are going on a business trip for a week," she pulled a long face which made Jungkook soften. "I'm quite lonely there and I don't feel like dancing. We never really bonded outside of the school so I figured out visiting you. Please don't be mad."
"I'm not mad. It's just you should've texted me so I could've prepare the house," Jungkook walked towards her and took the box of Krispy Kreme and the beverages from her. "Sorry I was a little bit harsh. It's just I'm not used to these kind of surprises since no one has ever came here unexpectedly. Also I haven't introduced you to my mom yet. She would be surprised because this will be the first time I'm going to introduce a girl to her."
"Don't worry I'll be polite to her," she asserted, fixing her outfit and practicing a smile.
"She'll love you."
Jungkook opened the door and let Kiki come in first. Ms. Jeon who was in front of the mirror, applying the foundation on her face turned her head towards the door and saw her son together with a tall, short-haired girl with milky-white skin complexion. An amused smile crept on her face as she can instantly spot what's going between the two of them just by the way their eyes would look at each other.
"Well, hello to this eye-drooling young lady," she greeted sweetly that made Kiki's eyes sparkle with her warm motherly aura.
"Mom, this is Xu Jiaqi but her stage name is Kiki," Jungkook spoke up confidently. "I'm courting her."
"Technically, he should be my boyfriend already but he insisted on courting me." Kiki corrected, crossing her arms.
Ms. Jeon laughed at how blunt she is. "My, my how did my son get such a precious girl like you? I thought my son would just date a Plain Jane based on how cold and mysterious he is acting. But I agree to his decision in courting you. Young lady, do not date someone who won't show you how persistent and how willing he is when it comes to commitment."
Kiki nodded appreciatively, "I guess Jungkook got his good manners and ideals from you, Ms. Jeon. Thank you!"
"It's a pleasure of mine. I was wondering if Jungkook would get old single and alone based on how stingy he is. He is also constantly studying and practicing hard that he never once had any love life so I'm glad he won't be turning old and gay like Newton or Einstein," Ms. Jeon whined.
