Midnight Sky: Youth
Taeyong was awakened by the grunting of Jungkook, finding him working out early in the morning by doing handstand, pushing himself downwards then upward. He was shirtless so he could see his chiselled abs and obliques. Taeyong wanted a body like that but seeing how much force Jungkook was exerting and how his face was contorted from bearing his body weight.
"Why are you working out so early? We haven't even had breakfast yet?" He asked in a groggy voice, unwrapping himself from his blanket.
"We're gonna have some physical activities later so I thought I should do some warm-up," Jungkook shifted his weight to his feet and returned to a seating position. "And this is the best time to work out since we haven't eaten anything yet."
"Do you always do this every morning?" Taeyong bolted up from the mattress, scratching his head. "You're so hardworking. Dang, I wish I could do a handstand. I can't even finish ten push ups."
"You can start doing it tomorrow and your body will eventually tolerate more pain which will lead to improvement in strength," Jungkook grabbed his shirt and wiped all the sweats in his glistening body.
"What physical activities will we do later?" Taeyong picked up the bottle of water and drank it. "Did Kiki give some hints?"
"Nah, she didn't say anything," he lied. "I just know that all of the students will participate in some kind of event. I think it's for the unity thing. You know how cheesy this school is."
"Why do your instincts always tell you a lot of things?" Taeyong blurted out. "All my instincts tell me is pretty stuff like I'm gonna be in an embarrassing moment sooner."
Jungkook grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. "Coz you're feeding your mind with nonsense. Try socializing out there will you or even attend a club."
"Whatever," he shrugged. "I think I'm just going to start dancing and I'll try rapping too."
"Don't dance and rap for some girls or for the purpose of being cool," Jungkook reprimanded. "Do it to build confidence or have some friends. If you're going to dance and rap just to impress others, you're not gonna be happy."
"I think you should be a psychologist or a therapist," Taeyong pulled another shirt to put on because he drooled on his previous shirt. "You have some knack in talking to people to do things."
"Just because someone is good at something it should be their career," Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"That's what the school teaches us."
"Not everything that the school teaches is right. They just teach us to become employees and slaves. They do not teach us about making money or pursuing your talent to the highest level," Jungkook rebutted. "The school system is broken dude. Why do you always have to just stick to what the school teaches? Can't you be a more thinking individual?"
